Dorset Cereals Simply Fruit Muesli, 12-ounces (Pack of 5)

I would love to give this 5 stars. This does have lots of tasty fruit bits and a nice wholesome taste.BUT, here's the big thing, this has got lots of husks in it. Every single bowl I have had of this (all 5 boxes) has had at least one sharp, pointy, scratchy husk from the whole grain. I pour boiling water over this to soften it and that makes no difference.Several years ago I ate something similar and ended up in the hospital for emergency surgery to have it removed from my throat. It had stuck in the spot below my tongue, a place that if it had been left, would have swollen and cut off my breathing.OK, this probably will never happen to anyone else, but I certainly don't want to risk it again.So, even tho' this is really flavorful and wholesome, it's just too fiber-y and 'husk-y' for me. My husband, who has a high tolerance for all sorts of food, says this is too fiber-y, he stops chewing to remove husks, too. And won't eat it again, either.

The cereal has lots of dried fruit and is very tasty. I sometimes add more oats. My favorite is the Berry Dorset cereal which cost is now prohibitive. Have been eating the Dorset cereals for about four years now. Started with the Berry (found it at TJ Maxx) and started buying the Berry version from Amazon until it was discontinued on the automatic shipping program.

This is a great cereal if you like whole grains and fruit but why pay over $8 per box? Granted there seems to be a limited supply (why it's only cereal?) but even shipping directly from England it shouldn't cost this much. I've seen it for much more (over $75 for five boxes) but the lower price here is still this is too expensive. Drop the price to $4 or $5 per box like the other flavors and you'll get at least one more customer

I love this product as well as all the other Dorset mueslis which I have tried. It is easily my favorite. This particular one's price has increased by almost 50% while the others have had only relatively modest price increases. Is there any explanation for this anomalous increase?

Love this version with the fruit, no sunflower seeds which is a plus for me. A small amount goes a long way. Highly recommend.

This is my everyday breakfast.I cannot live without this.One bowl of this will keep me goingI never get hungry until lunch time.

Very good cereal. Love to mix it with yogurt. This cereal is very filing. Has a lot of fruit in it.

Quality product, love the taste. Exceeded expecation and typical good European contents, no additives etc. I would highly recommend this cereal.
