I like having a bag for the canister instead of the cloud that appears when dumping it out. This has to be healthyer that breathing in all the dust that you were avoiding inthe first place.The only gripes are that the canister is tapered (which is the vacuum, not the bag's fault) and the limited space for the bag to expand (again, not the bag's fault).The bags tend to be a little pricy but are worth it. Changing a bag takes about 2 minutes (unless you overfill them, which I usually do).

What can I say? These are vacuum bags. Not the product that inspires passionate reviews. If you have one of these vacuums you will be buying these bags. They are well made and trap down to some really small size (you can find the spec online). This line of vacuums is fabulous by the way. I've had mine for 15+ years. Worth every penny. Have used it on multiple construction projects. It is effective and most astonishingly, quiet enough that you can have a conversation while you are using it. None of the shrieking shop vac horror. OK, sorry, that's a review of the vacuum, not the bag.

If you have a Fein Turbo II, you know the need for bags, even if using a Ridgid type aftermarket Gore filter as I and others do (see reviews for the Turbo II). I have tried both Ridgid and Shopvac's brand of bag filters, which will work in the Fein without issue. Given Fein's high cost, I did not expect their filters to be the better bargain, but found the prices on Amazon to be cheaper than locally sourced non-Fein bags. The bags work great, especially when coupled with the Gore semi-HEPA option. They fit and hold plenty of crud, with Amazon's pricing making ordering easy. While one can cut, empty, and reseal the bags, I don't recommend so, given the mess that may result (I'm cheap, but value my lungs over the cost of a bag). I recommend these bags.

They collect all the debris, especially the fine dust!! I recommend!

The bags are strange. You need them to use the HEPA filter, but the filter takes up the center of the vac tank and the bag kind of tucks down the side and under it. This seems to reduce the volume of the bag and creates a twisted air path through it. I think this contributes to the tears that sometimes develope around the bag's inlet hole.The result of all this is that these bags should be replaced well before they are completely filled and Fein thinks highly of their products and prices them accordingly.Still, they work and I like the Fein vacs per my review. For the price, though, it seems that the bag design could be a bit more clever. As far as I know, there are no aftermart substitutes.

I've had to throw a few of these away after they ripped while I was sliding the cardboard tab onto the vacuum's suction port. The bags are extremely fragile in this area.To avoid ripping the bags, carefully bend the cardboard away from the bag then gently slide it onto the vacuum.

These bags can be packed full of dust, especially when you are using the vacuum as a dust extractor for a sanding machine. We create loads of dust at our boat shop, and the Fein Vacuum is constantly running. I have been impressed with the sheer volume of dirt that these bags can hold.

I've tried using generic bags, and they don't work as well. The only reason that I did not give these 5 stars is because of the price. I cannot deny the quality of Fein tools, but the price of replacement accessories is ridiculous. If the bag isn't in too bad a condition, I open one end, empty it, and re-seal the bag with duct tape.

Items arrived as described and on time. Seemed to be the same quality as before; checked vacuum canister after installing bag and noticed no dust or debris outside of the bag. This is what you would expect from all vacuum bags.
