Annihilation / Arrival Double Feature

As advertised. Arrived promptly. No damage. All good.

This was the second set I bought because the Annihilation disk would not play on a Panasonic BMP BD60 Blu-Ray player, but the Arrival disk played. This second set worked as the first set. The only difference I can see between the two disks is the Arrival disk audio output is English 7.1 DTS Master Audio, the Annihilation disk audio is Dolby Atmos. All firmware was up to date on my player and the player plays all other DVD and Blu-Ray in my collection.The five star rating is for Amazon's perfect customer service and for great pricing on two excellent science-fiction movies. I did not take off a star because of the non-playing issue as it might possibly be the player but may never be sure until I can find another movie recorded in Dolby Atmos. Yes I would recommend this product.

I'm not usually in a hurry to review but since doubts were cast as these not being playable on some BDPs, I can say this: I have a Sony S3700 BDP and both discs function perfectly on all features. And, at this price you're paying $2 less than the single disc price----What A Deal!!!! I'm not going to say anything about the movies. Action/Adventure types find them pretentious and boring. But if you like a movie where halfway through you're still dumbfounded and by the end saying," Didn't see that coming at all.", these are for You.

These are both more "thinky" sci-fi pieces. I think they make a good set. Neither are particularly action packed, but both maintain a level of tension and "thriller" aspect while conveying interesting ideas to think on.

... which I didn't expect there to be digital copies available with a double feature blu-ray. Happy to have them both now! Shipped quickly and arrived fast.

Not your standard science fiction movies. I enjoyed both of them.

Completely disappointed by this movie. Very bored by it. A complete waste of my time.

Not commenting on the movies here... just a note to mention that the Arrival disc does not play on my LG blu ray player due to region restrictions. The Annihilation disc plays with no problems.
