Red Planet (Region 2 DVD | UK Import)

It is a very low grade movie. There is very little content and thus feels very artificial and boring.

Fun show.

I came across this movie from a recent poll on movies about MARS. It did quite well at position No.5. Despite its apparent 'loss' at the box office I had to give it a go.SO GLAD I DID. It is excellent. Interesting, gripping, very impressive Martian vistas, and with highly inventive robotic assistant in the form of AMEE, with many tense moments. All the technical electronic stuff from the spacesuits to those inside the ship look perfectly functional and well thought through. I cannot fault it. A super movie mystery which all takes place in a very convincing Martian atmosphere. Very good.I could not help but notice that the commander (Carrie-Anne Moss) is called BOWMAN! Could this be as an intentional link to DAVID BOWMAN, commander in the greatest Sci-Fi movie ever made: 2001 A Space Odyssey! KAN

ANOTHER GOOD GIFT TO GIVE AWAY. THANK YOU

I have been expecting this movie in HD for years and believe me it is worth every cent. Why is it considered as a B movie? Still don't know.
