This is THE sun hat I've been looking for. Hopefully I can save a few other people hours hunting on the internet.The brim is wide enough to cast lots of shade on my face on a hot day, but not so wide that it will act like a sail on a windy day. The brim is pretty stiff, not floppy.I chose dark blue which is actually navy, so its a useful colour to wear on holidays as well as for walking and gardening. Its not plastered with gimmicky logos or 'features'...the simpler the better for me.It fits my big head. None of the ladies hats fitted comfortably, some wouldn't fit at all. It doesn't look ridiculous on my face as lots of other hats do.With the vented section my head stays cool. And the chin strap keeps it in place when I'm gardening.Its very lightweight and would be good on camping holidays or in a day-sack.It was cheaper than many other options I looked at.At last, the hunt for the perfect sun hat is over!

I have a large head and it fits comfortably. The brim is large enough to keep the sun out of your eyes. Folds flat, will be ideal for taking on holiday in suitcase. Practical with good range of colours.

I liked the strap plastic thing that moves easily to tighter or slacker, like the things you have on your coat hood to make it fit but flatter and lighter and actually easier to use. A toggle. My hat is a nice light green with the airy lacey strip in the top of the hat connected to the brim. Its a good brim too and fits on easily. Very useful for the garden and greenhouse as it wont slip off. Great stuff. Arrived quickly. I would buy here again. Bought during Covid crisis 2020. It was a fair price too.

The fit is reasonable but the cord to adjust only goes through part of the hat although there are holes all around the brim that it could have been fitted through. The material is pretty low quality especially on the crown which was crushed, is a bit on the shallow side and is full of creases. Would have expected to pay 3 to 4 pounds for it but as shopping is difficult atm and delivery was included I wouldn't say the value was terrible. It is very light but I'm not sure how well it will hold up in a wind.

Superb and very lightweight. Purchased for gardening jobs and doesn’t disappoint and no sunburned neck. I’m a 58cm hat normally and this fitted comfortably as I don’t like them tight fitting. Cannot comment on how it will be after a few months but seems a good purchase to me

The Brim of the hat is too wide and rigid, so it will have odd folds in it The Brim is reasonably thick and should offer some shade from Sunlight. I like the mesh venting in the Crown, but feel that the overall thickness of the Crown is very thin being Polyester, and I doubt it is UFP50 and offer much protection from UV rays. I like the draw cord preventing the hat from blowing away + the pullcord at the back of the Crown allowing the hat to fit the majority of head sizes. Some nice features in this hat, but I wouldn't feel confident wearing it to protect me from UV rays. I'd advise wearing sunblock on your head, to be safe.

My only quibble with this is that it's perhaps a little small and snug - otherwise the colour is lovely, material is nice, good to have the cooler mesh in places and the toggle keeps it on well in windy conditions (we live by the coast). If you have a larger than average head it may be too small, but otherwise it's great!

I do not like wearing hats but being sensible I decided to wear a sun hat in the warm weather and this one fits the bill perfectly. The tie under the chin stops it from blowing off in the wind; the ventilated band round the crown keeps you cool and it has a decent sized brim to protect your eyes and neck - all-in-all I'm very happy with my choice.

Habe diesen Hut in beige an einer Frau im Urlaub gesehen und sie gefragt, wo sie ihn her hat. Mir gefiel, dass er eine Schnur hat und daher bei starkem Wind nicht davon fliegen kann, wie es mir mit meinem anderen Hut fast einmal passiert wäre. Die Dame verriet mir, dass sie ihn über Amazon bestellte, er günstig war und sie sehr zufrieden ist. Habe dann nachgesehen, gleich gefunden und mich für den Türkise Hut entschieden. Sieht toll aus und ist leicht.

The hat is nice but it’s also a one size fits all, which means it’s extremely tight on a bigger head.

The way the item is folded for shipment causes a permanent crease in the brim that cannot be washed out or ironed out. The cardboard brim can never be contoured to fit properly. The stitching was unraveling and the sizing runs small for men. I wear a 7.5 size and this is a snug fit without tightening the draw string. Don't waste your money! It ships by slow boat from China.
