Somehow I thought these lanterns would be bigger, but I LOVE them! I bought the set during deal days to replace a lantern light I had for years until it finally cracked. I am sold on lantern flashlights because sometimes you need a light but also need both hands free to work on somethings or just to make yhour way thru a dark house. These are small but very powerful and extremely well made. They have a dim and bright setting on both the flashlight and lantern functions and even have a flashing light for emergencies. There is also a hook to hang them on a cabinet knob or anywhere needed. I am going to order several more sets for Xmas present. I keep one on my side table indoors and one on our screen porch table. I use them daily and may buy another set for our car bag and my purse. Very compact (about 4" tall and 1" diameter). You won't be disappointed!

I came back to buy more of these after a recent power outage. I purchased the original set to put under the angel on top of our Christmas tree to light her after her lighting system failed. The mini lanterns looked better than the lights she came with.After a recent multi day power outage, I pulled these out and they were the standout winner of all other lighting sources. Fully open, they light a good sized room. You can adjust them down to almost a nightlight wattage or a very bright lantern if needed. They are lightweight and can be clipped to a beltloop or lanyard if you need to carry things. Hang them in the bathroom and they produce enough light that you can shower or get ready without constantly adjusting the light.I used them a lot over three days and didn't have to replace the batteries while the recharegeable lanterns were worthless when they died after the first day. No power, no way to easily charge them. Candles work, but it was very hot and humid and the candles only added to the miserable heat. Plus, I have a nosey cat with a long puffy tail and he was curious about the candles so I had to put them up really high to keep him from setting himself and the house on fire.I see some people say in their reviews that the light is too bright. The lanterns can be easily adjusted to the level of the light needed. I love these lanterns and am still using one daily in a small glass candle holder with a handle that I brought at the Dollar Store. I can use it on my deck and it doesn't seem to attract bugs plus it makes gorgeous patterns through the glass.10/10 will buy over and over. I'm buying one to hide in each room and in every car.

Ok, I wasn't expecting much for the price, but these lights are great. They're brighter than expected. The zoom works great, and then turns into the lantern if you keep going. The removable hanging hook can be attached at either end of the light depending on your needs, and makes it easier to hook onto a branch or something. I also like that the power switch is big and easy to click. It's flush with the end, so it shouldn't accidentally get turned on, and if the hook is attached and that end it will further protect it. This light is a great size to keep in a hiking pack and glove compartment. They come well protected in a storage box with bubble wrap, and include the batteries that are already installed (pull out battery tab). The lights are versatile and easy to use as a flashlight or lantern. Great to use to walk the dog! Buy them.

The front that twists to pop-up into lantern mode is a little finicky sometimes...overall, it's not a problem. It's a bright little light and serves it's purpose well.

i ordered these ahead of hurricane Milton in FL and i love that they come with batteries included. The attachment to hang them up with has been great to hang them from our ceiling fan pull chains using the lantern function. i also put one on top of the fridge to light the kitchen while i “cooked” our makeshift meals. the flashlight portion is also very bright and helpful. they’re small enough to fit in your pockets and don’t weigh much at all.

These little lantern / flashlights are perfect for bedside & getting around in the dark. Great for camping or an emergency light. Planning on getting more of them

Unusually small for a lantern. Lightweight AND gives light!!

For such a small flashlight, it has a bright light that covers a larger area than the older, larger flashlights I have. I do not care so much for the expanded light; I find it difficult to place it somewhere so it does not bother my eyes. I won't need to use that feature anyway, as I have a larger lantern-type light that works fine. But very happy with my purchase of a small, bright, convenient flashlight at a reasonable price.

Good brightness in either lantern or torch mode, they make good emergency lights or camp sites lights to get around or light up a room/tent

Bought this for my daughter as she enjoys pretending she's exploring. It's a great little item and a bonus you get two for the price.
