The brush is so soft and perfect to blend in crease. Can be used in many ways to blend out concelear, apply highlight and blender brush for eyeshadow. Good crease brush too. It feels so light weight. Feels comfortable to hold. The price is reasonable. Real techniques overall always do good brushes.

Beautiful brush to look at, and amazing to use. Really soft brush for effortless application and also blending. Cannot recommend enough. Wish there more sizes!

Bought the whole set of these for my daughter’s Christmas 2018 To replace her MAC ones and she loves them and they are used everyday.

If I’m honest, I was a little disappointed with the Real Techniques 305 taking it out of the packaging. It’s a sad world we live in if “designed to be instagrammable” is something to be desired rather than something functional. To me, the handle felt cheap and plasticky with the cracked silver effect design although I’ve had a good try and it doesn’t seem like it will peel off. The bristles on the brush though are so soft and not once have shed. With this being a blending brush though it is a bit fluffier so it’s not great for applying shadow and even less so with cheaper shadows if they have a lot of fall out. As a blending brush though it does work really well creating a softly blended look quite easily. I’ve watched the video on the Real Techniques website and with it being used for a cosmic look, she says not to worry if there is fall out with glittery shadows as that adds to the look but not great if that’s not the look you want and I found this was something to watch for with darker colours too if using the brush to apply over the full lid. I do like the shape of the handle having the slightly twisted shape as it makes it very comfortable to hold whether left or right handed. It is also very easy to clean. For me, I just didn’t find it as functional as it perhaps could have been and I’d need to use several different brushes to achieve the look I’d want for application and a finer crease, then using this one to blend out.
