Jeyes Fluid 1lt

I’ve been using this diluted in an atomiser for a few years now, sprayed strategically, to stop foxes and cats using my garden as a toilet and I haven’t had to clean up any poop for a few years now :)) I find it way more effective than sonic repellants and any products like scoot. I also have a lot of dog walkers go past the front and if I have sprayed a bit on my gate posts they cock their leg on next doors instead.I have to add (20,6,20) that i see many people saying Jeyes fluid has changed to green pine smelling disinfectant, Jeyes now do a range of products but THIS one is the original brown liquid, creosotey smell, stops foxes and cats crapping on your land formula

We have been using an old tin of Jeyes fluid to keep the moles away in the garden, however the recipe has changed, and it just smells like a pine disinfectant and doesn't work. It doesn't have the tar smell it used to have.

It's not what I want to pay for. I expected it to have it distinctive smell that also happens to mask the smell of dog wee and the like on patio. However this , whatever it is , is more like pine disinfectant and I'd be saving my self money by purchasing value pine disinfectant from the super market to do the same job.Will have to try another brand of outdoor cleaner instead.

I’ve used Jeyes Fluid for decades, this tin looked the same but the fluid was not anything like as strong smelling. That original smell kept dogs and cats etc away from messing again in the same spot, but this had hardly any such smell, just a mild disinfectant smell. And there’s nothing wrong with my ability to smell!! I wonder if this is the genuine article??????

We have been using Jayes Fluid for at least 60 years for many purpose. I just opened the first tin of this last delivery and thought whats wrong with this. This is not Jayes Fluid its more like Dettol. Well it certainly isnt the original Jayes Fluid and that is for certain. A little digging around on the Internet reveals that it has been changed because of coal tar type products having a possible cancer risk. How many cases I wonder attributed to good old Jayes Fluid, not many if any I would guess. My problem is that why does the manufacturer not indicate this change on the tin (at the very least) and your advert indicate that it is a new formulae and is not the same as the original product. To my mind I have not purchased Jayes Fluid and I feel cheated
