Mace arrived today! it was wrapped securely and double-boxed so it arrived in perfect shape. The knurling is grippy without ripping your hands and it is flat on the business end so it stands up unassisted. The welds are very nice! I'm not a welder, but it looks very clean and integrity shouldn't be a concern (assuming you use it for its intended purpose of course). The finish also appears first-rate. I'm very happy with this product!

This is a well built mace with just enough texturing on the handle to provide a good grip without tearing up your hands. I like that it has texturing in 2 places so I can choke up on the handle for warming up with it. I purchased the 20 lbs version since I have experience using other maces and heavy clubbells, this weight is definitely not for the beginner. I would recommend you check your ego and buy a lighter version if you are starting out, I know that 20 lbs does not sound like a lot but the physics of the handle and weight distribution makes it plenty burly for a serious workout. It is easy to injure your shoulders with the forces generated from swinging these maces around so please start light to build strength first.I have done a few rounds of sledge hammer style slams on a tire with his mace and find I do not like the reactive forces generated, it just seems limp compared to my Monster sledge hammer from strongergrip but that may just be my preference. The mace is plenty sturdy enough to withstand the sledge hammer style slams though and I expect this thing to outlast me in this world.

Bought this to start training at home and at the gym. Delivery speed was fantastic, and the packaging was great for shipping. Amazon packaged around the companies packaging so it was sturdy, and didn't clunk if I placed it on the floor.The grips on the mace itself are well placed, and not serrated enough that they cut up your hands when you're doing lots of switching movements, but strong enough that you can do 360 swings without losing your grip...which would really suck haha.The weight is balanced well, was afraid this would be a cheap version to the Onnit but it's not. It's balanced well and sturdy.The only issue is the paint used on the mace which honestly I fully anticipated. It rubs off pretty easily when you set it down or if you accidentally lightly tap something. No big deal, I'm not using it to look cool.Overall I am pleased with the product I paid for, the speed of delivery, the quality, and the craftsmanship. I would buy their products again (and I do plan on buying the 3lb Indian Clubs).

I am 50 years old, 5' 9", 180 lbs and in sort of OK shape. I was concerned that a 15lb mace would be too much to start with, but it's perfect for me. I just got a 500lb tractor tire that I hope to be able to flip some day. LOL. But for now, smashing it with this mace feels really good and the noise is about the same as bouncing a basketball. My neighbors won't even notice my workouts.As far as build quality and value, this thing is hard to beat. The grip as others have already stated is very good. Totally recommend it for anyone wanting to get into whole-body workouts... even old guys like me!

The package arrived with the bell sticking out of the box and there is a gauge on the handle. Exchanging this and having to redbox it is not going to be easy nor fun. I wish there could just be a new one sent in replacement. Pretty bummed it is defective and can't use it yet. May look small, but it is bumpy and not smooth.

Super cool exercise mace. Great sturdy mold. 20Lbs is a bit heavy, so if you’re not sure of your strength, go a bit lighter. I use the 20Lbs but admit I’m limited in terms of the online exercises I’ve seen. In retrospect would probably go 10-15Lbs so I could get more out of it.It’s pretty tall (about hip height) and I recommend storing the product laying down so if it accidentally falls it doesn’t damage anything.

Exactly what I needed 20 lbs is heavy. I have been using the 10 lbs one for a year. The handle is thick and put a nice amount of stress on your hands. The construction is great and feels uber durable. I did some double handed overhead swings and I loved it. I would definitely buy product again.

Overall this product is well worth the money. This is my first steel mace, so was not sure what to expect. However, seems to be well constructed. Most importantly feels great using it. My only gripe is that there seems to be some dirt or material trapped inside the mace. You can hear it shifting inside when using it. Not sure if this was from manufacturing or shipping. Other than that, no complaints.
