After a long search for the perfect shaped light for my cottage I purchased 4 of these lights. I was surprised that they are a hard plastic and not metal, but they are substantial and beautiful. I soon purchased 5 more! Finally they are installed and I do notice that the glass doesn’t fit all the way up into the light nor is it tight but I am happy and they are beautiful.

We live in a coastal area and the saltwater in the air eats at any metal product including marine grade items. I chose these because they are made of a plastic but was really surprised at how well made and the exceptional quality of the light. We had them installed this week and they look amazing!

...it's a plastic fixture with a glass lens. This was a shock to me- I've installed a lot of fixtures and never imagined that this would be anything other than metal. I reread the description and sure enough, it said plastic. My bad. On the other hand, I don't think a fixture at this price should be made of plastic hence my three star review.

The lights are well-constructed and the glass has an elegant appeal. Most impressive was the company’s customer service, as I accidentally dropped one of the glass inserts and contacted them to purchase a replacement....the company sent the new glass at no charge and free shipping. AAA+++

It's beautiful and worth every penny. It arrived with a small broken piece and within hours the vendor had responded. It was a matter of days and it was replaced. Top notch customer service.
