Nice feature is velcro on the vestibule door to hold ...
This tent significantly exceeded expectations. I have to believe sub-$200 price is introductory pricing while they build marketshare and brand awareness. I currently use a $1000 Stephenson's Warmlite 3R and have had a North Face Expedition 25 for two decades. I was shocked at the similar build quality of the EXIO tent. We wanted a car camping tent to reduce wear on our high altitude tents.Took it out in 20 degree weather with zero issues. Zippers high quality and self-correct. Nice feature is velcro on the vestibule door to hold it while zipping. Bottom of vestibule zipper has place for stake. Entire vestibule/tent can be zipped with one hand. Ground cloth thick and nice quality. No struggle to connect poles to tent. I really like the combination of sleeve and clips. Reduces pressure to setup tent and clips make it taught afterwards. Color coding nice, but not necessary. Tent total no brainer to setup. There are pockets up high (if you use cots) and down low (if using sleeping bags). Tent/rainfly does not sag in any places. Poles very high quality. Stakes too. Separate bags for different parts of tent nice touch. The overall bag has a super wide opening and then synches down to close. No issues packing up tent.I have been camping/climbing for 25 years. Stayed in tents too many times to count. These guys hit everything on my dream list. EXIO is sitting on a $400+ tent and maybe have not figured it out? At this price, expect to EXIO have a very, very bright future.

Great multi-night car camping tent at a good value
Got this for an outrageously lower price than the $300 or so MSRP. For what I paid, this tent was a steal and a no brainer for the value. Pricing is now about what I would expect for a tent of this caliber.First, the good.My friends jokingly nicknamed it the Taj Mahal, for good reason. It’s huge, roomy, and the vestibule is just ridiculous amount of space.Construction is very lightweight, but so far, very durable. Floor feels very thin compared to other tents, but I like the lighter weight that you get.Setup is mostly straight forward. Realistically maybe 30-45m with all staking and adjustments. Add 10-15m if by yourself.Havent tested this tent in the rain yet, but I have no reason to believe it could not handle it.Why I took off a star:1) vestibule matt leading into the main tent is centered inconveniently between two doors. While entering either door, you might only half be standing on the matt. It should be wider. I just put another blanket down anyways, so pretty minor.2) pop-up vents on rain fly have a convenient velcro enclosure for cold nights. This is helpful, but when fastened closed, the sewn in wire that helps to keep them popped open do not sit well because it’s now to long for the space.3) Vestibule is great, but if you want any level of privacy, you have to put up the vestibule / rainfly. The main tent has a lot of see through mesh. It would be great to have an option of another rain fly that does not include the vestibule - i would get both to have the option of setting up in smaller spaces in good weather.4) Rainfly is tricky. Have set up full tent with stakes, then added rainfly which was very difficult, especially with one person. The easier way seems to be to arrange the rainfly and clip it in, THEN bend the poles into their grommets to raise the tent with the rainfly already in the proper orientation. Drawback of this method means a bit more adjusting to get the tent staked down taut.Overall, this tent makes for a fantastic car camper and extended camper tent. Very spacious, and worth the time and effort for 2-6 people when puting this up for 2 or more nights. For frequent up/down, (for example, New campsight every night) I would go with something a little easier. If this tent is on sale, buy it.

NIce design, but abcense of footprint is major drawback
Nice design, but abcense of footprint is major drawback, because floor fabric is very thin. Rainfly is sagging to the inner tent after dry but somewath chilli nicht (just condensation of 3 persons breath)

Best tent I've ever owned.
Absolutely love this tent! By far the best I've ever owned. If you're using it for backpacking it's best to have 3 people to carry it since it weighs 15lbs and has three separate bagsnfor the tent, poles and rainfly. I opted for the 6-person because you're able to stand up in it (I'm 6'2"), the large vestibule porch area which can be used as a porch, for extra storage outside the tent area or extra sleeping area. Zippers are great quality along with the poles, fabric and everything else. Plenty of guy lines for the rainfly and works great for high wind and lots of rain. No actual complaints. The only bad aspect, in my opinion, is that on cool nights (40-50 degrees) it collects a lot of condensation on the inside of the rainfly from all the warmth inside. Another vent on the top would be beneficial. It's a bit tricky at first to setup since it's a bit larger and not your typical tent but nothing too hard. I can have it up in 10 mins by myself if I was hurrying. I plan on getting the 4-person as well for lengthier backpacking trips.
