1 PUMP AND BLEND!
When I purchased this, I was under the impression that this was a gradual self tanner, like the Jergens daily lotion - It is not. This is more of a proper tanning serum, as in close to tanning mousse, minus the green tint to counteract the orangeness. All that equals to bad.I love the texture and the smell of this. I love how it goes on like a watery, light lotion, with a men's cologne smell to it, and fades in absolute within 2 minutes - meaning that 2 minutes after applying this you don't even know you put it on. The formula has tiny sparkles in it, so when you apply it, be prepared to shine bright like a diamond. However, you must realize that this is CLOSE to an actual few-hours tanning product. Within the first day, the day after the first 2-pump application, there was a slight hint of color. On the second day (today), after the 3 pump application, I had a full blown tan-mustache, and blotchy orange skin all over my face. I'm too embarrassed to even go out to take out the trash and have my neighbor's kid call me an oompa loopa.Overall, this serum is okay. I love the smooth, watery texture and the men's cologne smell, but the actual ending shade is horribly orange, therefore I would not recommend. If you decide to purchase this anyway, highly recommend prepping up your skin the way you would for any other tanner. As well as applying with caution, as you could very easily pile it on, so blend blend blend!Update 1/28/17:It's been close to a year since I've purchased this, and I'm about 3/4 down the bottle, with plenty left. I've continued to use this throughout the year and I'm convinced I have a good routine down, so I figure I'll share :) Also, please note that I use this only on my face, since in my opinion, the bottle is too small to use on your body as a gradual tanner - you'll be through the whole bottle in a week or two.1. Exfoliate and prep just like you would with any other self tanner. This is particularly important if you'd like to reap the benefits of using this as a serum (no lotion-icky feeling!)Optional: If your face is dry, apply a bit of lotion prior to applying the serum. If your face is naturally well moisturizer, this step is unnecessary.2. Pump out ONE PUMP on your hand, distribute among both hands, use what you have on one hand to apply to main areas like cheeks and forehead, then spread the rest all over your face, blending into your hairline, ears, neck, back of neck, etc, BLEND it out until it COMPLETELY DRIES. This goes for spreading on your body as well, blend until it dries completely, to allow the tan to blend more seamlessly into the body rather than end up splotchy with "blocky" defined ends.3. Use VERY sparingly along naturally dry parts like around your lips, elbows, knees, etc. I like to use the "left overs" of the particular area I'm working on to use on these parts.4. Within a minute or two, you shouldn't feel a thing, as the serum melts right into your face. I highly suggest you DON'T put anything on top, such as makeup, as this tends to turn the tan splotchy, so applying this overnight and washing your face in the morning is best.

Best looking self tan for the face and at a great price!
I have tried many many self-tanners. Including department store clarins self tanners and drugstore self tanners. Mainly for the face. This is by far the best at the best price. It does not have a scent that I notice or others notice. I purchased this bottle in March of this year and only now about eight or nine months later I am buying it again. And I use it at least three times a week! I used as frequently and you only need a few drops if you are covering your face and neck. It really last a long time! Mainly I like it because it has the most realistic looking tan I have found. Not orangie like so many of the others including Clarence products. I used to work for Clarence and I love most of their products but even they can't compare with this one. And certainly not for the price. With all of the options out there I still use this one. It dries quickly on the face, it doesn't have a strong odor, it lasts just as long as others do, and it is the most realistic tan. add that to the fact that it is about $10 for a bottle that lasts me 6 months and it's a win-win.like all self tanners for the face or body, if you exfoliate first it will last longer. I don't always do this so the self tan may only last me two or three days. If I take more showers and washing my face and standing in the water more often it will sort of wash away faster. but it is so easy to apply under makeup or even before bed, and it dries quickly, that it is not a problem for me if it doesn't last for days and days. sometimes I put it on in the morning under my makeup and by the afternoon I have a nice self tan glow. Or I put it on at night let it dry before my face is on my pillow and when I wake up I have a nice self tan. I get so many compliments that I look like I have a nice glow or did I go somewhere, but nobody has ever said to me that they think it is over-the-top or looks fake or anything like that.I give it low stars for moisturizing because I don't think it either dries my skin out or moisturize has. I would recommend putting on a light moisturizer beforehand so you get a more even coverage and goes on smoothly. You don't have to, you can skip this but better for your skin to moisturize. I definitely recommend this product!

I like it but . .
I've used L'Oreal Self-Tanning for many years. I have tried MANY high end self tanners and find that none of them are better than L'Oreal and most of them are not as good. I have fair skin that freckles and burns easily. I wear skirts and dresses most days and people are always surprised when I tell them my golden "tan" legs are L'Oreal Sublime Bronze! So I recently bought and tried this new (to me) L'Oreal Self-Tanning Serum. I like it, but not as much as the L'Oreal Sublime Bronze Lotion. It just wasn't as moisturizing for me. Someone even commented that my legs looked dry. Like all L'Oreal Sublime Bronze products, it's easy to apply, doesn't streak, has a nice scent, and the color is fantastic and very natural. The tan lasts several days, but I don't think the color, at least on me, was as deep as the lotion, even after two applications. This is a great product for someone just trying self tanners or someone that like a lighter color. Also, the smaller bottle is good for travel.

My long time favorite
I have used this sublime self tanner for years and years,,,,, now, they stopped selling it at my local CVS or Walgreens. I can only find the tanning towelettes and I hate them. I have probably used more brands - at all price points, too, - of self tanner (it would be embarassing to know). But who wants to spend $65 dollars on a “tube of tan” that’ll last you three weeks, when you can get the exact dupe from this brand of self tanner this is my, by far, all time fave! I’ve used the body on my face before (in a pinch) when I’ve run out of the face and it’s fine, too. And vice versa. Ya can’t go wrong with anything that Loreal (which owns Lancôme, by the way) they always consistently put out high end products, highly recommend!

This product works!
This product works! And it's more like a light cream and goes on flawlessly. Feels great, no terrible smell, and best of all it works.More of a gradual tanner, so a few easy applications and you notice a nice tan glow

Great for Mediterranean skin
Gives you a natural tan, you would never tell it's fake. Easy to apply at night after your skin is cleansed. It does make your skin dry so important to alternate with a good moisturiser the nights you are not using the product. It says you only use it once every 2 weeks to top up but I find that it fades after 3 days so I use it more often. The skin colour I get is so much better than other products I'm not really bothered by this, still getting a 5! Not sure how it would work on other skin types, I have brown hair and mediterranean skin, go very dark in the summer but go pale/yellow and look unhealthy in the sunless UK winter so this is a treat!
