The hardest part was waiting for the ice dam to melt. Installing this device was easy.

Stopped the leaky water under the deli tray! Easy to install. Just followed a YouTube video. I am a 51 year old female and was able to fix it!!

We had major problems with condensation in our Samsung refrigerator. this one tiny item did the trick and solve the problem completely. You do need to completely defrost the refrigerator and remove the back panel from the inside before installing it. This process can take many hours but its worth it.

Installation was easy and straight forward. This product has been in place for several months now without any freezing issues. So far, so good.

Researching a water problem in my Samsung French Door Refrigerator led me to this little gem for the iced-up defroster drain line. The part description did NOT include my model (RF20HFENBSR) and an answer in the Questions & Answers stated this part would NOT fit. However, another user stated it DID fit the same model so I gave it a try. I was very pleased that the installation went without a hitch and fit just fine. Oh yeah - and so far, no more drainage issues!

The length of this clip is much longer compared to the original piece and therefore extends farther into the drain line. We no longer have the problem of a frozen drain line that caused water to run into our refrigerator under the deli drawer.

Not much to add from previous reviews. Works as advertised. One additional tip:After removing the back panel to expose the coils, I used a hair dryer to thaw the ice buildup. After clearing that ice, the vertical drainage tube (leaving the coil assembly) remained iced up. Being an impatient sort, and in a hurry to get the fridge put back together and food put away before my wife returned from a day trip, I didn't want to wait for that tube to defrost on its own. So I inserted the new clip into the drainage tube as far as it would go (maybe 1/2"). Then, used the hair dryer to heat the protruding clip until it slowly sank into the ice below, allowing me to easily attach the other end to the horizontal defrosting tube. Took maybe 5 minutes, saving a few hours of waiting for the tube to defrost on its own.

Careful, this is very flimsy. A few bends back n forth and pieces are breaking. It did not fix my issue, unclear if it’s something else or this part.

It fixed the problem with the drain tube freezing and causing water to overflow into the fridge compartment.

Was unsure about this item following some dodgy reviews.Our freezer had water pooling at the bottom and this was becoming a big issue. Hubs took everything apart, cleaned it all out yet still the problem persisted. Last resort before getting a professional in we thought we'd give this ago. It's been nearly 6 months now and we've had no issues with water pooling. Really pleased.Hubs found it a little tricky to fit, but didn't take long at all.

Fridge works well after install. This piece is much longer than the original but does that job.
