Ilve this set and so does my daughter. She just know how to play chess and would like to play all the time. Such a fun game. I love the magnetized pieces that help them to stay in place. And one board for two games is pretty cool. Save some room for storage another game and would be fun to have some break from playing chess all the time. Love this set!

This is a really great quality chess set. The pieces are a good size and the fact that the set is magnetic keeps the pieces in place when you are playing. Storage in the folding board is easy. I have been playing chess with my 5 year old and 9 year old grandsons and it seems to work for all ages in the spectrum.

The chess pieces do not stick well. The checkers seem to work a bit better staying in place, but not sure I'd have kids playing either in the car because they seem like they will slide or fall off. Other than that it closes, latches, and stores the pieces well and makes it great for transporting the game when you travel.

I purchased this set as a gift for a family member. I was fortunate enough to be able to see the contents and use it. It is not the smaller toy versions but one that lays out comfortable enough for adults to use. The nicest part about this set is the storage. It folds to put away and has bags for the chess pieces. We also liked that you can play 2 games and not just one with this set. It arrived in perfect condition and quickly. We would definitely purchase this set in the future.

Just the right size for travel but not too small to use on an everyday level. The pieces are really well made and put together, and it closes securely. I really love this set! And the magnet is strong enough to keep the pieces from moving if slightly jostled.

I bought it for my son and he loved it. The chess board is great size for he and the magnetic design is perfect for kids. They are well made and good quality. Great price for such a chess set!

I can't understand why they would make the chess players magnetic, but not the checkers. I would give it 5 stars if they would have had the checkers magnetic. Playing checkers would be impossible to play while traveling but are OK for playing at home.

We tried 2 different times with this product. It is barely magnetic. We needed the pieces to stay in place when bumped, maybe 2 on the whole did so. Returning both sets and trying a different brand.

Picked up for £20.99 which was great value for money. Had been scouring the various cheap chessboards on Amazon, weighing up reviews and settled on this one. My primary consideration was getting a board of a decent size and this one strikes a great balance between being substantial enough to feel like a proper chessboard and being compact enough to fold away and carry.The pieces are nicely done and with just enough heft, the lightly magnetised surface ensuring they settle in place and stay there. Other reviews are correct in pointing out that the magnets aren't going to keep the pieces down if, say, you start tilting the board at a wild angle but thankfully that isn't a frequent occurrence during many of my games.This feels like a worthwhile investment at the £20-30 range and an absolute steal if you can pick it up at the bottom end of that bracket. The only gripe I really have is the hinge in the middle of the board isn't 100% flush when placed on a perfectly flat surface but it's barely noticeable and everything else is great so it hardly matters. Typically fast Prime delivery and no bumps or scratches to be found.

Ich habe dieses Schachspiel als Dekoration für mein Arbeitszimmer gekauft. Durch die Megnete in den Schachfiguren fallen die Figuren nicht runter auch wenn man mal dagegen stößt. Die Optik gefällt mir insgesamt sehr gut.Bisher habe ich nur eine Partie mit dem Spiel gespielt und diese ist gut verlaufen. Ich würde das Produkt meinen Freunden empfehlen.

Das Spiel hat ein wunderbares design und sieht gar nicht nach Plastik aus. Die figuren fühlen sich angenehm an. leider ist die Magnetkraft sehr schwach. König und Königin rutschen sofort ab wenn das Spiel ein wenig schräg steht. die ander Fiduren haften . Der Verschluss lässt mich zweifeln wie schnell er kaputt geht. ich befürchte jedesmal das er abbricht aber das muuss ich noch abwarten vielleicht bekomme ich die positive Überraschung das er stabiler ist als er aussieht. Ich finde es toll das die Schachfarben jeweils einen eigenen Beutel haben. Dies hätte ich mir zumindest für alle Damefiguren auch gewünscht. Die Damefihuren sind dagegen enttäuschend. Wieder sehr offensichtlich kunststoff, haften überhaupt nicht und es ist im grunde auf Grund des Designs nicht möglich zwei Steine als Dame aufeinander zu stellen. Daher zwei Punkte abzug.Es gab eine super Kundenbetreuung mit Kostenerstattung . Daher gibt's einen Punkt mehr für den problemlosen Service.
