My First Sophie la girafe: Let's Get Counting!

This was one of the first books my daughter learned to read herself. She always enjoyed us reading it and it was an easy beginner book for her. She passed this off to a friend's baby recently and it was really sweat seeing her give her Sophie book to the little baby and reading it to her for the first time.Its got some good textures in the book also that little kids live to feel as they hear the story.

My little grandson loves all of the Sophie books. He loves looking at all of the colorful pictures and he becomes excited when you read to him. They are one of his favorites!!!

Exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a book that had a number and that many singular things. Like 1 kite, 2 apples, etc. I didn't want 5 spots on a giraffe (for example) because its still ONE giraffe. However, I could have done without 20, 50, 100 or the "help Sophie's friends count". I just want basic counting for my toddler.

Great little board book for little hands. We love Sophie so this is a great addition to our collection. The pages are think so not easily torn. The pictures on each page are bright and easily recognizable. So happy we purchased this book.

The book is well constructed, durable and colorful. It meets all textile requirements for a small child and very portable. The series is a must to have if you are a Sofie fan- my grand daughter doesn't leave home without Sofie!

Another Christmas present for my Great-grand daughter that I hope she will enjoy for a few years to come. All of these Sophie books are made so well and she loved the little girafe toy so much.

Bought the set of books as my 9 month old grandson has the Sophie figure. His nursery is giraffe themed. The books are sturdy, colorful, and I'm sure in a few months he'll let me read to him.

Great book, like others in the Sophie La Giraffe series, really well illustrated, put-together and thought-out. Engaging for young toddlers and clear to read. This one counts 1-10,then 20,30 and 100. Not sure why those are so special, but there you go! Well illustrated and some fun things to count on the pages. Chuffed with how robust this feels - exceeded my expectations to be honest. Top book.

Great board book, nice clear pictures of items and numbers alongside. Nice strong board.

My boy loves reading with me and the Sophie books are his favorites. He especially enjoys the pictures and the different textures. I would personally stop at 10 for a book of this type (it goes up to 100), but I'm nitpicking. It's a lovely book!

This is an excellent counting book as there is one set of items to count per page and nothing distracting the act of counting. The fact that it is a board book is also helpful to my very enthusiastic boy. I am a teacher trained in early years and have seen some very poor products with too much information.

Can't rate these books enough. Such a perfect start for little ones and board books are just great for letting them explore themselves. Highly recommended
