Diamond Eye K4114S Turbo-Back Exhaust Kit

As other have stated, install instructions are lacking. I was able to figure out where which support hanger went 'fairly' easily. If working alone recommend sliding the short double slotted piece onto the front pipe then resting it on the crossmember to make lining up the banjo clamp easier. Accessing the lower end of the downpipe for the initial connection through the fender well worked best for me. (4 hands would be even better for just this part). I was able to remove my stock system without cutting anything. unbolted and removed both small tranny exhaust bracket bolts, lowered the spare tire, removed the passenger front fender well and lifted the frame, front and back passenger side with floor jacks. Catalytic converter piece slid out forward...eventually (Needs to be lined up just so to be squeezed through the opening between the torsion bar and frame. Long rear section including muffler snakes out forward via the passenger side eventually. recommend assemble the new system on the garage floor prior to installation as the flared sections of pipe can be slightly bent in (I needed and used a rubber mallet on two of five flared sections used), or small metal burs may need to be filed down for easier fitment. I did place a 2x4 block under the first junction as others have done to get the pipe off the crossmember. I also bent the transmission exhaust bracket upwards to offer some support and help keep the entire line straight. I didn't use the provided joint clamps but instead used lap-joint exhaust band clamps as I think its a better seal and also allows for disassembly if needed (ie. remove the muffler and straight pipe it....lol) As other have said, my 2004.5 LLY is only slightly louder than stock with the Diamond Eye muffler. I installed for performance not sound and am happy with product. There is an increase in exhaust smell, be forewarned. I don't mind and DW doesn't notice any of it...lol

The sound is great, but the pipe is rusting way too fast. I attached pictures of the installed exhaust that is only 3 months old. You be the judge.
