Pain Free Sleep
I can’t sleep on my side without this knee pad on because of the pain. This pad is wonderful. I can now sleep pain free!!!

Great for Side Sleepers
As a side-sleeper, sometimes my knees ache from having the bones right on top of each other. I've tried knee pillows, but every time I turn to the other side, the pillows have to be manually adjusted and placed again between your knees on the other side. I can slide this onto either knee and no matter which side I'm sleeping on, the "pillow" is always between my knees. I'm sleeping more soundly and without knee pain. I give it a 4 instead of a 5 because the fabric isn't particularly soft, but the benefits outweigh that issue.

Almost as good as advertised
I bought one knee pad and tried it. But I needed more padding, so I bought a second one thinking that two would give me the padding between my knees I was looking for.Functionally, using two pads worked for me. But I found they slid around a lot during the night and every time I woke up I would have to adjust them back into position. This adjustment routine grew tiresome and diminished how well I felt the pads worked for me.I used them every night for about a month, but finally went back to the memory foam pillow I had purchased prior and have used for a couple of years. The pillow has its drawbacks, which is why I tried the knee pads. But ultimately I am able to better integrate the pillow with my sleep routine than the knee padsFor the Osteoarthritis Knee Pad to work for me, the foam would have to be significantly thicker and made of a better quality memory foam so I could use one knee pad, not two.

Not comfortable
The wrapping material is very coarse, stiff and harsh-feeling on your skin. I woke up after night 1 and noticed that the skin on the back of my knee was all red. 2nd night it was so painful that I took it off and threw it away after wearing it maybe an hour. I definitely got the correct size because it slipped right on and was easily adjustable.

Not comfortable, at least for me
The idea of this kind of slip-on knee pad was great, but I found these uncomfortable and hard to pull up my leg, especially after my recent spine surgery. I bought the right size, based on the company's description of how and where to measure one's thigh. In fact, the size I bought should have been a bit large on me. But as soon as I tried one of them on, I realized that they feel like snug compression stockings, and for light sleepers like me, it would have been impossible to sleep with one on. The pad itself is a bit too firm, too. So I'm going to return the two I bought. I'm trying out another brand with a very different soft-knit material and nice design that I think will work much better (and will post a review of that one once I really try it out). If you have knee pain and sleep on your side, but don't like the pressure of having one knee rest on the other, and/or you want or need to have better alignment of your spine and hips when sleeping, something like this--a slip-on knee pad with the padding on the inside of the knee--is a good idea since it stays on if you get up during the night (as opposed to arranging and rearranging a pillow between one's knees), but this particular brand/type is not comfortable, or at least wasn't for me. YMMV.

Performs as I expected
I am 60 years old and was having trouble sleeping when on my side with my knees together. I was going to have my wife make me something out of foam and a ace bandage and then I found this and it works great! In fact I ended up buying another one for our weekend house. I am 180lbs and the foam does wear down some but it has relieved my pain from my knees rubbing together. I have had the first one for about 6 months and it is still holding up fine. I have only wore one at a time on just one leg but I could see the benefit of wearing one on both legs if you are a little over weight it would give you better support and maybe offer relief from back pain too. Make sure you measure your leg about 5.5 inches above your knee to get the right size and there is a top and bottom when wearing it. The elastic does not bother me like some other reviews but it is not as tight on top as the bottom is for me but it stays in place just fine. No more fighting to keep a pillow between my knees!

Provides padding between knees while sleeping
Works fairly well as padding between knees especially if you're side side sleeper. It is comfortable and I have enjoyed using it. You may want to order the next size up. I measured my leg as instructed and bought the large, but it was too light, so I had to re-order and get the extra large.Update: I used this every night for about three months and enjoyed the cushion between my knees. However, I noticed that my left leg at the hip joint started to be aching much of the time during the day. I concluded there must be some possible relationship between wearing this, and having an aching hip joint on the left leg. I discontinued wearing it and the aching has gone away. For whatever it's worth.
