Teepee Burner with Pinon Natural Wood Incense - Incienso De Santa Fe

This cute, but very functional incense burner is part of a line from Incienso De Santa Fe, (IDSF). All models included in this line are made from a hard clay or soft stone, and done in a native American/southwest design. (All except one that resembles a fireplace, complete with a dog sleeping in front of it). If you either own an incense burner, or have just been shopping for one here online or in local stores lately, than you fully realize by now that the accepted style and fashion for most burners is mired in fantasy, and mysticism. Most burners resemble Chinese urns, east Indian relics, and Gothic ceremonial thing-ama-jigs decorated with wizards and dragons. This line from IDSF is a fresh breather in another direction that I am very much enjoying. I own two of the line now, and plan on picking them all up. As far as their burner capabilities, they do the job nicely. Not that that is all that much of a recommendation since just about anything can act as a burner functionally speaking. But this does do the job nicely in any event with its hole at the top, and its airflow lines at the bottom. The incense burns easily inside, and the smoke swirls convincingly out of the top. Its very relaxing to watch when burning.As for the incense that comes with it, I have devoted an entire review of its own to it. In short, it is of a woodsy, smoky base that is different from regular cone incense that is oil based. Its a little smokier, but very warm and cozy. This little tee pee burns either the brick or cone incense easily.Even if you are someone that just likes southwest style decor, or knows someone that does, I highly recommend this little burner, and all included in the entire line. The detail on them is quite nice, and they look very handsome on a desk or book shelf. The price for them all is reasonable here on Amazon, and I have not seen it cheaper anywhere else. Also, I have never spotted these in any incense shops locally here. It seems to be an online item only. Whether you actually use it for incense, or just plan on displaying it, I feel it would make a worthy addition to any south west or native American decor. Highly recommended...

This makes for a fun thing to have around the house. My child loves it because the smoke comes out the top and it’s fun to watch. Looks handmade and functions well. Adorable packaging and a nice thing to have for years. The incence smells great. The incence is very natural and it smells like pine logs burning. I like it in the winter time or on a rainy day. It makes the house smell warm and cozy. Highly recommend and it would also make an awesome gift.

My mom got one of these from a secret santa one year. The whole family agreed, this was the only air freshener, insence, whathaveyou that any of us could stand. The pinion scent is strong, but nice, and very different. Anyway, fast forward twenty years, and that old one was lost in time and space. Recently she took a winter vacation down to sunny Phoenix, but wasn't able to bring back one, much to her and our general dismay. But we know where to look - AMAZON! Pinyon times are here again.Now we have several of the burners, the tipi, the adobe, and the little chiminea. They all work. The new adobe house did crack on first use, and the crack opens up every time thereafter, but doesn't seem to get any worse. This is very soft clay, almost like plaster.

When I was a kid on summer vacation I saw one of these in a gift shop and I wanted it but could'nt have it. Well when I saw it online(guess what) I bought one!!! I think It's really cute and I love the way the smoke comes out the top. I love the smell of the wood Incense, like a fireplace on a cold night. it brings back good memories from when I was a kid. I would recommend this to anyone. I also got the sampler pack of Incense, I love them all, they work great.

Received my Teepee burner on the day promised and in excellent condition. It was shipped in an unpadded envelope which was a bit concerning because the small single layer cardboard box the product ships in is not very strong. Luckily the item wasn't manhandled by the postal service. It comes with a 20 brick sampling of Pinon wood incense but if you're a fan of that wood burning fireplace aroma, you'll be buying more very quickly. I suggest getting the 7 scent sampler to see what other scents you like. By the way, the sampler comes with a nice small ceramic burner with a circular indent in the middle to hold the brick incense in place. Something I wish the Teepee burner had. I've been chasing that wood burning smell for some time and came across this product here at Amazon while shopping for some Hem brand incense. I'll tell you, the Related Products section on the website as your checking on an item is just great. I have a faux fireplace in my living room that uses those gel fuel cans. It's nice with authentic flames but no authentic wood-burning scent. Anyway, I scrapped my plans to buy Hem incense and purchased this Teepee Burner along with the 7 scent sampler and let me say that I loved every scent. No perfume smell. Just some good old wood burning aroma. I've already purchased more bricks in my favorite scents. My only ̷c̷o̷m̷p̷l̷a̷i̷n̷t̷ wish is that the bricks would be available in a longer size because the burn-time is quite short. You won't be able to burn just one brick. I tried to burn two bricks at once inside the Teepee but it seems not enough oxygen is able to flow through so the lit bricks get snuffed out. You'll love the Teepee burner and incense bricks just as much as I do. Enjoy.

My little teepee thing arrived today, and I'm thrilled with it. It's a little bigger than I was expecting (it's probably 4" high and 3" wide, and it probably says that somewhere in the description), but it's fun to look at whether or not it's in use. I despise incense - those sticks you might get at a new age store called "Reflections" or "Enchantments" that hit you in the face when you pass by. This is not that. This is essentially a little brick of compressed sawdust. The smell is cozy, natural, and light, and i'm going to try the sampler pack next :)
