Q: Are these abgs reusable ? I'd like to use these to secure my winter pool cover, will they suffer freezing, and can they be drained after use ?

I've reused mine in the sense when they fill up and then deflate they do re-inflate and seem to be just as effective. The goo-like material inside also is supposively non toxic and I've emptied the barriers and used the stuff mixed with water, and encased in plastic so it doesn't dry out as fast. Worked to hold down my sun umbrella's mosquito net during storms. As far as toxic, I wouldn't swim in it but I didn't have a reaction and I have allergy prone skin.

Q: Can you place in the crack under a heavy metal door, between the floor and the door? Or will this potentially damage the door when it expands?

It probably won't damage the door, but you might have a problem opening the door if the HydraSorber absorbs a lot of water. It will puff up considerably on either side of the door. Might be better to place against the door rather than in the crack.

Q: are they available in longer lenghts?

I do not know but I don't see why you could not set several of them up side by side

Q: What’s the best way to dry this out? Hang it? Will it just dry out eventually, and does water seep out when drying?

The product didn’t hold up very well. A couple didn’t expand and didn’t prevent water from flowing into the garage. I just let the sandbags dry out where they were placed. I haven’t given up. Reviewing other products on Amazon.
