Brittle and cheap
I've purchased these "Flying disks" in the past for playing with my dog. I have purchased them three times prior and I never had any problems until now. In the photo the green disk on the left is a year old and as can be seen although worse for wear isn't cracking. The disk on the right is 3 days old and has cracked all the way across as well an splintering and leaving sharp edges. The material is a different composition altogether. This is unfortunate as this time the price was considerably higher than in the past. I don't like leaving bad reviews but when something as different as this happens to a product I feel that I must share it so that no others will have to face such misfortune.

NOT FOR DOGS!
I use these strictly to throw with my dog and this review pertains to this specific use of this product. I have purchased a couple dozen of these Gamecraft discs from different places online over the past couple of years. They are expensive but fly very well and are well weighted for a dog disc. For my first couple of orders, these discs were perfect for what I needed. They were not very durable and only lasted a few sessions of catch before they were destroyed but they were very soft strong plastic and my dogs teeth just kind of sank in and made little teeth marks but the plastic never shattered or broke into sharp pieces. Now, the discs are made of VERY different plastic and brake IMMEDIATELY into very sharp pieces. After this happens it is unusable for a dog because as the disc spins it is very easy to cut their tongue and gums. This has happened to my dog a few times now and I will no longer be using these discs. I have posted some pictures of a disc that I threw for my dog ONE TIME! The condition of the disc is after he caught it ONCE and brought it back to me.I gave it 2 stars because if you are just using these to pass with a friend they are very nice even though extremely fragile.

"GREAT FOR BIG IMAGINATIONS & CHEWERS"
The two reasons for my purchase of these disks are: (1)our 4 year old grandson loves running around the back yard with one in his hsnds"steering" like he's a racecar driver.(2) our German Shepherd puppy loves chewing everything, including these when left on the lawn."FRISBEES" or the name costs a crazy criminal amount of $$$ for what I want them for. These suite our needs just fine. They are thicker & a bit heavier then the FRISBEE.They glide pretty good.I haven'the thrown a Frisbee in a very long time, but remembering what I can. These hold their own. And for $12.99 for six, i really can't complain for who i purchased them for.My photos give pretty good measurements and the colors are very bright.Hope I have helped even just a little.THANKS FOR READING, BYE

Bought it for my dog
The media could not be loaded. Bought these because my Malinois likes to play fetch.. as most dogs do, but he has destroyed all the very expensive KONG toys... so, I decided I'm not going to invest in these expensive "toys" anymore. These so far have been very durable. I use them everyday with my dog, multiple times a day. Not one has broken yet... And if its does.. well I still got 6 other ones. I use them as placement spot for him, fetch, and just a toy for him to focus on when I want him to target something.Good for training and playing. BTW the video shoes the KONG that he destroyed.. but just wanted to show that we do a lot of training with this dog.

If it ain't broke don't fix it....
I purchased these at the beginning of the year, and they were great. They were the only frisbees I bought that my dog didn't crack that day. She absolutely LOVES playing frisbee and I was grateful to have finally found something made well, flew well, and her teeth didn't go right threw them. They felt heavy duty and sturdy. After months of wear and tear I decided to order another set just because a few were lost and/or hurting our fingers to throw after a while. Well, what we got is not what we got originally. These look and feel like cheap and flimsy, they don't fly like the others do. You can actually see through these if you hold them up to the light. I don't know if because of the pandemic they decided to use cheaper material but I really wish they hadn't. They were so perfect before.

Break Easily if Using for Pets
Bought these back in the fall of 2017 and they were good quality. Just recently bought a set and they are not from the same maker. This new set is awful. Extremely brittle. Don't get burnt like I did and keep shopping.

Fabulous for what I wanted at a great price.
I should preface this by saying that I am not a frisbee afficianado and I actually bought these to use as paddles for tubing on the river/Lake. Because of the price my expectations were not very high and that was fine, because I just needed something that the kids or I could use to paddle tubes around the Lake/river. They came today and I was super impressed. They are actually hard plastic and not easily bent. I havent taken them outside yet, but they fly really nice just tossing them around the living room with my 15 year old. My 17 year old son who has played quite a bit of frisbee wasnt impressed. But If you just want an economical toy for kids/dogs or some paddles for the river/Lake these are awesome. If you are serious about your frisbee game you probably should look elsewhere.

My Pug Loves them
Yes, I did say Pug. One of my four Pugs actually has a fetish for chasing a ball and a frisbee. He defies the lazy tag most pugs are given. This guy is quite the athlete. So I have to keep him stocked on lightweight, nose and mouth friendly frisbees. He can catch them when running up from behind and lunging. Straight on, he pretty much gets beaned in the face. But these are lightweight and they last quite a while until he destroys one by chewing on it. They do not crack or splinter like other cheaper discs. And when new and not chewed up, they do fly straight. Probably be good for small human children too.
