This set has a great selection of models, and the price value is way below the cost to buy them all separately. If you play Warhammer 40k as Imperial Guard, or are looking for a new team to explore in Kill Team, this is a great set.

This is a great little starter box! Scions themselves are $30 a box so for the cost of two Scions and a Commissar you're essentially getting the Taurox transport for free.

Considering the price if you bought the models individually compared to this boxset, this is clearly the winner.

Much better than buying each of the component parts separately.The Taurox was a joy to put together .Careful with the special weapons troopers, some of the parts for them are also used for regular troopers, so build them first if you want any.

I bought these just before the last price hike. I knew it was coming, and although I will likely never build a full tempestus army (esp. with the new kasrkins coming this year, and I already have one of the commissars in this kit), I thought it prudent to have for general use (other rpgs, an allied unit, etc.)The minis are newer sculpts, and the quality shows compared to older kits like the cadians and catachans. The taurox is a cool little truck, but the treads leave me a little flat. I will definitely be going for a wheeled conversion.Overall, it's GW, overpriced for what you get, but still nice products. If you are looking to start a tempestus army, I would get it before GW phases out the start collecting boxes.
