Ball RedBook: Crop Production (2) Eighteenth Edition, 18th edition

I've not gotten to use this book yet, however this is the book that TCC NW uses for herbaceous plants class, it's packed full of great info/will stay in my library of other books that I have bought for my classes working toward my Horticulture Degree which I will have finally gotten for this Spring semester 2019. I paid $54 for this book/after I had already received my book brand new, I saw the same book about 1 week later on amazon for $45 go figure, that would happen only after I wrote my name in it/my classes have already started this week. I'm just glad that I have my book since it is required 4 our class/i'll sure need it 4 reference for later use after I have graduated. So glad it didn't cost me an arm/a leg cuz some of the books i've had 2 buy 4 my classes have raked me over the coals. Just be careful when ordering this book, because the author has also written a book about greenhouses & equipment/the 2 books look just alike same color/all.

Purchased this book for a Greenhouse management class. My instructor refers to it as "our bible". Have used this book so far for three crop assignments. The contents are easy to read, go into detail and is written in a way that the novice can understand. Gives you all the facts you need if you were to produce this crop and do it successfully. This is a great bargain compared to prices at the University Bookstore. Also, you should be able to make use of this for at least another 8-10 years (according to my instructor) before it is revised so that definitely is a good investment.

What can I say? This is the industry standard! If you could only buy two books for your horticultural library, this would be one of them. I cannot imagine anyone growing in a greenhouse that would not benefit tremendously from having this text.

I really like this book. For the quality and price, you can't beat it. There is lots of information that can easily be understood. It's a great way to build your horticulture knowledge. This book is great for the beginning, intermediate, and advanced plant producer.

Great reference with a lot of information on many many plants. Have not spent much time in it but I plan on using it a lot with a new greenhouse going up.

My wife is a book junkie and a plant junkie so this is a great book for her not to mention she currently works in a green house great book
