It holds a good amount of paper inside and has an excellent grip on the outside. The only bad thing about it is that the top collapses when writing on it; it needs to have reinforcements on the inside of the top cover.

I purchased this because I teach an outdoor PE class and regular clipboards were making previous marks illegible. The enclosed section means I can put my papers away while we’re outside and mark the grades in the safety of the building.

Love this so much. Needed something to write on other than a notebook or my desk so I looked into clipboards and found this one that I liked. I got this one because of the storage capacity. I shoved a lot of papers in it and 2 notebooks, barely closed. But I did shove A LOT in there. Lol so I'd say it still is very handy and a nice feature. I was worried about the top part being too rugged to write on, but I had no problem. In my opinion, if you need a nice clipboard that has a storage feature, I'd get this one. It is plastic so if you drop things a million times you could possibly break it. But I normally just leave it in the same spot so I don't have to really worry about that.

I have a storage clipboard like this I bought years ago, but needed a few more (four, actually). Bought them keep some common forms I use organized and ready for quick use. It rains a lot in Portland so that fact that this provides some water protection is great. I also like that it opens at the top so you can get papers out while still holding it upright and using the clipboard-- without dumping all the contents out. The clasp that holds this shut is mechanically hinged-- not just a piece of flexible plastic that will eventually break from stress (a big plus in my book). The last selling point for me is that these are made in the United States of America. I just think that's really cool and it sealed the deal for me. If you look on Amazon, there's also a pink "breast cancer" one made by blind workers. I bought one of those too (cool bright color, and nice that it's made by workers with disabilities).The only reason I knocked off one star is that-- if the clipboard were truly perfect-- there'd be a thin rubber gasket around the edge of the clam-shell to make this truly waterproof. I would have even paid a few extra bucks for that feature. Still, very happy with the quality here.

I got this for my husband so he could organize his work papers/ forms and have something to write against. It is lightweight and does the job. It could be a little more sturdy/ not bendable. We've had it a few years so it lasts.

Has a great feel for a cheaper storage clipboard. Much stronger than the one I saw at an office supply store. Not too flimsy to enjoy writing on it.

It fits my letter writing to keep it all together and user friendly

This clipboard is perfectly sturdy for writing on and needing to keep documents at hand. I used this for a few years at my last job without any issues and was able to fit a lot of papers inside that I needed to reach quickly. Definitely worth the purchase.
