These cycled smoothly though my Springfield 1911 Loaded. The Tipton version did not.

These seems sturdy enough And well-made, and so far, and suffice to demonstrate how the firearm works and loads. However, they are quite difficult to eject from the chamber once loaded. Using a Colt .45 911 semiautomatic. I only load one at a time. I also think they are over-priced.

Bought to train clearing misfires. Works as intended and the blue tip is easy to spot on the garage floor.

I ordered these snap caps to use in my Kimber 45 CDPII during Mantis X dry fire system practice sessions - am very pleased with them. Ammo is pricey and hard to find right now, so this is the next best thing to keep me sharp until I can go to the range more often again.The caps load and run smoothly through the magazine, and eject perfectly when I pull back and relese them (this is a manual activity since there is no powder involved).The weight is comparable to a live round so the feel is the same, and they come in a nice reusable plastic box for storage when not in use.

A nice "tool" that protects your firearm when you dry fire. Also a good "tool" to use when you are practicing and want to keep steady when pulling the trigger. Mix it in with live rounds and observe how your control your trigger pulls.

As advertised, high quality dry fire snap caps that are quite useful in practicing without live ammo.
