Edge unraveled but I snipped it off so it doesn't show - almost 2 years later its still like new
I never cared for folio cases until I bought an iPhone 6+. After trying out my tried and true IPhone case style, I'm glad I made the switch. For whatever reason, my 6+ screen was always unusually filthy and because it took up more space it was more likely to be damaged. The folio protects my phone and the microfiber inside cover keeps the screen pretty clean and allowed me to get rid of the glass screensaver which attracts dirt. Now, my reason for choosing the Kavaj ---- I purchased the cognac cover for my IPad some time ago and it's the best case out there. It's made of quality leather and very lightweight as well as secure. I figured the iPhone case would have the same thought put into it and I was right. It is quality leather, extremely lightweight and secure. The credit card slots are on the back instead of inside so the screen is kept cleaner and can't be damaged by a card. The magnet is strong enough to hold the cover closed while it's upside down. I tried a perfectly good leather folio from my carrier 1st but it was larger, heavier and almost double the price - Kavaj was a no brainer. Also, when I bought my iPad case, Kavaj was a fledgling vendor and an owner actually called me from Germany to make sure I was satisfied. WOW!Update 12/17/15. I've now had this case for 9 mos and it looks and feels as good as new. Granted, I don't abuse my phone but this case shows no wear. I love that it's so light and keeps my screen pretty clean. The only negative is that the magnet doesn't consistently keep the cover closed but that is not a feature I care about - I'd rather have the lightest cover not the tightest.Sorry but I spoke too soon! It's Jan 1 and my case has started to unravel despite light use and carrying it in a separate pocket in my purse. I'm really disappointed because I love the case but I'm not sure if I should try again. I have the same iPad case which has been through a lot, however, and is in perfect condition after 2 years so maybe it's a fluke?

Front cover Magnets weak
Front cover wouldn't stay closed. Magnets were very weak on my unit. Overall a very beautiful item, quality leather and craftsmanship. Returned it for a different folio case.

Great Case, just one drawback...
I Love this case, but there is a drawback...the inside flap that touches the glass of the phone absorbs oil...I haven't figured out how to deal with that yet...other than that, it is smart and sleek. Pockets come in very handy for when you need your license handy while going through security at the airport or for holding your bus pass. Also I have dropped my phone several times and, while it doesn't fully cover my phone, I haven't gotten a scratch on it. I highly recommend this case.

Nice case but does not hold up to daily use
I've had this case since mid April 2015. At first I thought it was a very good case. But the edging around the screen cover portion is slowly coming off. I hope I can get a refund.

Beautiful but terrible magnet.
Case is beautiful and would work great but the magnetic closure is defective or too weak. It is so weak that you can barely tell its there.

I highly doubt you could find a nicer case in this price range.... been looking at my 6+ dallas construction and I am now pretty positive that the manufacturing line is forked between the dallas and tokyo.... there is a single line of stitching that overlaps the credit card pouch and continues up the back of the case .... obviously done before adhered on to the hard case. so the dallas is the tokyo.... you could convert however you would have to cut... there is no way you could remove the stiching because its on the part of the case that is adhered to the shell..... really precision work.... had to look hard to see how this was put together.. I was puzzled a little by the line of stitching on the front of the flap... the case bends there and I was not sure why while waiting for the case to arrive.... I now think I undeerstand.... because the flap wraps around the case and is sewn in to the back...... when you flip the flap around to the back it will lay flat, however it is a good quarter in overlaped in that position....so if you are taking a phone call and do the flip you will grip the sides of the tokyo sides and that stitch along the front of the flap caves.... feels a little awkward at first having the flap buckle out...touching your palm but it does allow a firm grip on the phone itself with out the flap getting in the way..... pretty neat design.... Ill reserve final judgement went my phone actually gets here but I think the kavaj is going to be a winner===== one more thing_.........I had one more comment about the dallas that might help some people..... during my several week wait for this case to arrive I was very concerned about doing photography and had imagined all kinds of modifications I might do..... I think all that concern was unfounded..... since the dallas is virtually a tokyo with a flap sewn in around the back when you hold the 6 plus in landscape mode the flap will hang down but it is completely out of the way of the volume buttons which seems to be the best position for the phone to take pictures.....ie your left thumb to activate the shutter. emphasizing that the flap is completely out of the way and so you are gripping the tokyo hardshell
