Cant beat it for the price. This battery lasts about 2.5 hours.I'm not sure if it stays charged as long as the original but I don't remember how long the original lasted when new.It is definitely an upgrade over the current status of the original battery

Battery with a life
It was exactly what I needed. My computer is working like it should work now and I am not always having to plug into an outlet.
