Gardman 17277 Cockerel Weather Vane - Black

Well made and found the assembly fairly straight forward. I initially made the mistake of putting one of the direction arms upside down. It works well in breezy weather but needs to be set up at a reasonable height. An excellent product for the price.

Bit on the thin side.not sure it would weather a storm as its not very sturdy.but looks ok from a distance. Overall ok.

Good value and has stood up well against all the wind and weather thrown at it so far.

Not brilliant a bit flimsy, does work that well.Very difficult to get the N S E W sign to tighten up so it doesn't move.Last one we brought 6 yrs ago was very ,at half the price but Coopers no longer sell it.

Bought on behalf of my neighbor who keeps chickens and he is delighted with it. He had a friend put it on the side of the chimney of his bungalow. He said it was easy to put up and assemble, just needed some WD-40 to make the compass part move. Others that we looked at, were nearly twice the price and had very expensive postage on top.

Product seems fine, however was delivered without being packaged in a cardboard box, so my dad saw his christmas present clearly when it was delivered. As it is around Christmas, I had expected the company to make some effort to conceal the contents of the parcel. Very disappointing.

Not built to last . Cheap and nasty . I had drill a hole in it and put another screw in it as the one supplied to stop the lower part move around did not work .It needed loads of grease to get it moving .It was not standing up vertical as I guess the weight of it was bending the pipe and now its fell over . Waste of money
