what a price and what a scissors!
I just received these this morning, a bit earlier than I expected... I love them! this afternoon I did some blending-grooming my two Tibetans. Oh these blenders are so comfortable; they have the comfort rings for the holes that are removable but I like them so my fingers will not get any blisters. They cut so beautifully. this scissors is worth all the money and they are better than a $150 pair I tried. I am so pleased and I recommend them for blending--that is, one side is solid and the other has the close teeth. My pups look so cute and they did not mind them at all because no pulling. Just remember, this scissors is mainly for blending, not thinning shears that have teeth on both sides. Enjoy!

Excellent Scissors! If you have Dogs with Fuzzy Paws, you NEED these!
My husband got me these scissors as a birthday gift so I could better groom our 2 golden retrievers. I'm blessed to own a pair of straight-sheer Tisserands, which you simply cannot buy any longer. I have to say I love these curved Sharf scissors. Excellent for paw and ear trimming, and so far, they are equal to my Tisserands. They are beautiful as well. Excellent quality, I would highly recommend!

Relatively Good Quality for the Price
I've been home-grooming my miniature schnauzer for a few years now. Recently, I've been on the hunt for new, more "professional" shears that are sharper, and easier to handle during my grooming sessions. I purchased these because of all the good reviews, and they are relatively cost-effective. I'll go through the pros and cons point by point:Cons:Sharpness - I was looking for shears that could cut baby-fine hair easily. Though these are much sharper than the cheaper shears I have been using, they still have a bit of trouble cutting through fine hair. I am still satisfied with their sharpness, however, and I think I could take them to a professional sharpener to get them exactly how I'd like.Noise - I was hoping these shears would be silent when cutting, but unfortunately, they are pretty noisy. The noise doesn't bother my dog, but having a quieter pair of shears would make the grooming process easier.Rubber Grips - Throughout the process of grooming the circular rubber grips on the inside of the thumb and finger holes kept slipping out! It was very distracting!Pros:Color - The finish on these shears is beautiful and looks exactly as pictured on the product page! I love the iridescence.Case - The shears come in a tri-fold style protective case, so they are protected during storage.Easy of use - These shears were not too heavy or awkward feeling. They felt pretty good! They have a nice weight, but they did not fatigue my hand during my grooming sessions. They are also a good length... I was able to groom my miniature schnauzer's face and legs with no problems.Overall, I would recommend these shears! They are an excellent quality for the price, and suitable for an at-home groomer grooming one or two dogs at a time.

Not Sharp!
Cute size. Would work well for mini and toy poodle bangs but arrived so dull that they literally would not cut hair. Had them sharpened and they are serviceable but not something I would buy again or recommend based on my experience. Been grooming my own dogs for over 20 years. Not user error.

Wonderful thinning shears
I’ve been a dog groomer for over 2 years and I love these! They are great for the price and work wonderfully. I have spending hundreds on scissors I use on dogs and I sometimes have to use them when they are dirty and yucky stuff that only a dog groomer can imagine. These work beautifully. They are sharp and do exactly what they are intended for. Love them!! Only think is they are slightly heavier then bother thinners I own. But it’s no biggie for me.

Great Quality!
This is the third Sharf I've purchased and I will continue to stick with this brand. They are a little pricey, but totally worth it. They are durable, ergonomic, and stay sharp forever! You get what you pay for, and Sharf delivers with superior quality.

Maybe backup pair in a pinch
If you need a cheap pair of thinners to use in a pinch, these might be ok. They are bulky. Only lasted me a couple months.

Love these!
Perfect addition to my grooming kit for my shin tsu’s! They are super sharp and cut fine hair with ease. They are a much higher quality than some of the cheap ones I have tried in the past. Several grooms in and they are not filling a bit! Well worth the money!
