This is made of real wood (not particle board) and it looks really nice. It’s also very stable and all my other electronics fit on the lower two shelves.An excellent product.

I wanted something inexpensive to support the 55" diag LCD in my secondary, out of state work apartment and this fit the bill nicely without looking like a typical laminated particle board piece. The stand is a semi-glossy stained wood with sanded edges all around. What you see in the picture is what you get and what you get looks good. The piece is easy to assemble and the hardware package includes the hex key to do it. A second person to help hold some pieces in position would be nice but I did it myself in 20 minutes using the carpeted floor. The end result is quite sturdy. Note that the finish is rather thin and the wood is pine so you don't want to be tossing your key ring onto this but if all it's doing is holding up your media equipment, that's all you need. Just be careful with the vacuum cleaner when going around it. The color is a medium dark walnut that blends with the dark cherry and other relatively dark woods and leathers in my space.The only negative appearance factor is the open back where you can see cords dangling down, but a handful of adhesive cable clips on the back edges will fix that if you don't mind sticking them on. The unit is finished on all sides including the undersides of the shelves if that is important to you.The TV actually extends about 3/8" beyond the stand on both sides which means it's fractionally narrower than the description, but I have it on a long wall with nothing abutting the stand. The depth of the upper/shortest shelf is adequate for the TV and a Soundbar that just barely fits between those legs with a good inch to spare in front. My backup plan which I didn't need was to drop the soundbar to the middle shelf or attach it to the finished underside of the top shelf. It was the slightly undersized width and thin finish that had me knock off a star, but even so I debated giving it the full 5 stars.One last thing to note.... This same exact stand is available from a variety of sellers and often for a significantly higher price...including from other sellers on Amazon. As far as I could tell those I looked at were the same, right down to the typos in the on-line descriptions yet the price could vary by nearly 300%. I was just about to pull the buy trigger on it on another site at 175% of what I paid on amazon when one last search with slightly different parameters got me to this vendor. The package is heavy and awkwardly large and showed a good bit of handling rash from shipping and handling, but everything inside was very well protected and good to go.

If you are tired of particle board furniture, this is a good alternative at a decent price. Some similar particle board (MDF) furniture costs a lot more.Super easy assembly, Attach three shelves to two sides with 12 bolts. The L shaped allen wrench (included) is a bit of pain (straight driver would be a lot easier because of tight quarters) but it still only took a few minutes. Probably the easiest furniture assembly I have ever done.This is another made in Vietnam piece so unsure about the wood type but I assume it is acacia, a favorite in that part of the world.. Not as heavy as pine. Lots of grain.Not a lot of care went into choosing the boards, because there are lots of knots . Each shelf is multiple narrower boards glued together to form a wider board but the finish quality is pretty good for the price. The finish is smooth and somewhat shiny. The knots make for some slightly uneven spots in some places but you have to look closely to see them. It is not a glaring problem and the overall look is quite good. No major nicks or scratches or defects. Very well packed to protect it from shipping damage.I am not using it as a TV stand but it seems pretty sturdy.Fairly lightweight for its size, but Amazon still classified it as heavy piece so it took special handling and three days to deliver instead of the usual one day delivery.Overall, a good price for a fairly large piece of solid wood furniture.

This thing is awesome. I bought it mainly for my 50” TCL TV that I primarily just play video games on, and it works perfectly. It was such a pain to try and find a piece of furniture stable enough to hold a big TV that wasn’t, like, 10”-13” tall. I was looking for something taller so I can lay back in bed and see the whole screen from about three feet away from the foot, and this is the exact height I needed. I like the sleek yet kinda weird design of it, it feels sturdy and there’s good ventilation room for my consoles underneath. It took me and my mom just over half an hour to put together and it looks amazing.The only problem is how fragile the wood is. You could literally chip it away with your nail if you really wanted to. Be careful with it and it’s an awesome piece of furniture.

I’m incredibly pleased with this purchase. I was looking for a solid wood entertainment console and this is perfect. Bigger than expected, it looks great in the room, is very functional, sleek, and simple. Two very small nicks on the wood but nothing to complain about as the pieces were well wrapped — it’s a matter of shipping. Definitely recommend.

Needed a larger platform when I moved the old Samsung 50" upstairs. TV Legs fit on top shelf, barely. Measure carefully. Had to dig glue out of one of the bolt holes. Color looked good with wooden furniture in room. A few scratches. Lots of room on lower shelves. Overall. pleased.
