Best parking assistant device with Digital Display & EASY TO SET UP
am leaving a 5 star feedback because I think the product is a great idea and works relatively well compared to other products out thereSet up for the product is very straightforward and really is a no brainer. This distance measuring parking assistant works well displaying the space between its twin sensors and the front of the vehicle being driven into/out of the garage space. As soon as the vehicle enters the space it begins counting down the inches remaining between the vehicle and the sensors beginning at roughly 99 inchesThis thing is amazing and worth every penny! Once you find the perfect parking distance you can put your car in exactly the same spot every time

Best parking assistant device I have tried
This distance measuring parking assistant works well displaying the space between its twin sensors and the front of the vehicle being driven into/out of the garage space. As soon as the vehicle enters the space it begins counting down the inches remaining between the vehicle and the sensors beginning at roughly 99 inches. So you can choose the amount of space to leave between the vehicle and the sensors. For instance, when not expecting to need trunk access I will park with additional space at the front of the vehicle (about 40 inches in my case), but when I want to retrieve groceries, etc., from the trunk with the garage door closed down I reduce the space in front to allow additional space at the rear. This garage parking assistant device is designed to be mounted on the wall in front of your garage parking space. But since I have some frequently shifted "stuff" (mower, over wintering plants, rolling storage cabinet, etc.) temporarily stored right there between the wall and my vehicle, I threw together a temporary/movable floor stand to mount the twin sensors and the digital display. Everything still works the same; I am just able to occasionally move my floor stand with these units attached out of the way and then put them back whenever I need to do so.The display normally shows 2 digits although it occasionally shows 3 (over 100 inches) so its sensors have a considerable range. The display is bright and easy to read. Once it is installed nothing more needs to be done. It just does its job every time. It does not need batteries or charging since it is a standard wall plug-in type of device - so the only time it won't work is in the event of a power failure. There is nothing to get in the way of other activities in the garage (like tennis balls hanging down or devices fixed to the floor). This is a great little device and much better than trying to spot a little fixed laser dot on my hood/dash like I was using previously. Even my wife finds this to be a better method for knowing exactly where to park than other methods.

This worked great for about three months. Then it just stopped working rendering the unit useless. Not worth the money. DONT BUY….

It works well after getting a replacement
I purchased one of these for our new house after finding this item on-line. I did some research on parking assistants and this one looked to be pretty good. I received one and after testing it insiside on some objects, it appeared to do what it says. After installing it in my garage, it only worked for a couple of days and I kept having to unplug and replug it in which defeats the purpose if I have to get out of my truck. I asked for a replacement as I thought it seemed like a pretty good product and somtimes there are defects. Well, I've had the replacement now for a few months and really like it. It could have a better way to mount it since most people are going to mount it to their wall and the velro does not stay well. I devised a better way to mount it and I am satisfied.

Perfect for My Truck!
The "Garage Parking Assistant" is the perfect gadget and way better than a hanging tennis ball in my opinion to park my F-150 Super Crew into my garage. I can't understand why it is not listed as one of the first choices as an option when looking for a similar device. Set-up is pretty straight forward. I just positioned my truck in the garage then set up the sensors with the outmost point of my front bumper. I then set the read-out display to be seen from the inside of the vehicle and plugged it in. I got a reading of 5 inches from the sensor which is pretty accurate because I used a tape measure to check the distance. I have been using the "Garage parking Assistant" for 3 months and so far no complaints with the function of the device. The only issue I had in the beginning was that the adhesive backing that came with the device did not hold the digital display on the wall and it fell off, but I had the lose hanging power cord tied up so it didn't hit the ground and incur any damage. I just sourced some extra double sided tape locally and put it back up on the wall. I would purchase this item again! I also think the item should be made easier to find on Amazon's search list.

Attach to the wall with screws.
So tired of getting out of my car just to see how close to the wall I am. This is a game changer. Plugs into wall. Both sensors connected by wires. The sticky tape to attach to the wall works for about 10 hours.Using MacGyver skills, take a utility knife/razor blade and the components easily separate. Find 3 screws and just drill through each base plate to attach to wall. Everything snaps easily back into place.I tried the floor speed bumps first which work until they get wet. This product is definitely worth every penny.
