Norestar Stainless Steel CQR/Plow Boat Anchor

this is an unbelieveable deal on a polished stainless anchor. although the fit and finish is not as nice as the "Delta" or the other American brands it is one 3rd the price so i'm very happy with it. it would score a 5 if it had not been for the way it was shipped.it was literally placed in a cardboard box with no packing materials so when UPS delivered it the anchor was protruding out of the box. its a good thing i liked it and didnt have to send it back!

After a few uses, this anchor seems to hold well, but drags in mud under high wind - great price compared to name brands.

Very beautiful anchor. I was hesitant because it is not a genuine CQR. The quality looks to be there. I have used it several times and it works great. Very nice anchor for the money.

Anchor was amazing at the quality vs price. I have owned a S---- anchor and this one was better quality at less than 1/4 the price. It's hinge pin is welded in place and polished. It is the proper shape of the original hinged plow sold by the inventor of the hinged plow. It is one sold piece of 316 stainless, no lead added to the bottom tip for weight, its truly solid stainless. I can not stress just how well made this anchor is for the price. Even compared to the very expensive ones, I truly believe it is built better than the expensive ones. And yes, the shipping job is funny, but at least they wrapped it in bubble wraps and cardboard and it was still contained in the packaging when it arrived.
