All good video and photography starts with a controlled lighting environment. While three point lighting is a standard method used for film which is built upon, a two point lighting setup can also be very beneficial. These 2 lights can be used as the key light and fill light, and can eliminate shadows produced by direct light.I will also be using these 2 lights in conjunction with either a strobe or a ring light for a three point setup.As shown in the photo I shared, all of the items come with proper carrying bags for storage or a box for the bulbs. It’s nice that they provided the bags for storage and transport.Construction:Stands - are all metal. At maximum height it’s pretty tall. Taller than the ceilings in my apartment can allow.Soft boxes - seem sturdy enough for indoor use. I have no intentions of using it outside, but you can easily put some sandbags on the base of the metal stands if it’s windy to keep the soft boxes from falling over.Light bulbs - they are CFL, so they don’t run as hot like regular bulbs. They are very bright, and I would only use them with the diffuser on the soft box. I think it’d be too harsh without the diffusers.

i was looking for a handy set of lights for photography sessions. i don’t have a studio so they needed to be portable. there were SO many options on amazon. these work great, especially for the price. they come with storage bags and are super easy to transport and pack away. bring extensions cords though, as the cords are rather short!

I used these lights for a photo shoot. Works great and easy to set up. Love the carrying bag it makes it extremely easy to transport.

First impressions: Great lights for the price! They’re nice and bright! My only gripe is that that aren’t dimmable. But honestly I can just move them away from my subjects if I need less light. For the price, they’re really nice! Good carrying case too.EDIT: I’ll write more when I’ve had the lights for a bit longer. I suspect they may outlast the stands that were packaged with them, but only time will tell!

I was really satisfied with this product. It came with a carrying case for all the stands and everything else, so if you need it pack it all up and take it with you, you can. My only issue with the whole product is the length of the power cable. Personally I am moving these things around a lot, one day taking shoe product photos and the other portraits. The bulbs were really large, and in the future I might update the leds, but for now I am really satisfied with these.Other than the cable length, this was a really solid light kit to add to your photography arsenal.

The stands are very low quality and are barely sturdy enough to hold the lights up. The lights and light covers are standard quality.

We purchased these light as product photography lights in our studio.We ran test after test of trying to adjust white balance and aperture to make these lights useful.The set of lights were easy enough to set up and luckily have longer cords but are cheap and wobbly.We thought that since the tripods are metal that they would be sturdy but with the soft box attached they are very top heavy. The light bulbs made terrible grinding noises when screwed into the socks on both lights. Luckily they both turned on but it was very much a sense of...."that's it?"If you need lights for studio or product photography do not waste your money on these lights.We looked into returning the lights but it is $11 for us to ship them back. Losing 20% of the purchase price to return them is ridiculous.

Worked great for the newborn photo shoot I did. Lighting was bright and perfect, but wasn’t blinding for the baby. I will be using these a lot!
