Island Hopper 20 Foot Water Walk Floating Foam Water Mat - Super Buoyant - Triple Layered - Mesh Reinforced

The first time we used the product, my 200 lb. son jumped off the dock and stuck his foot through it. I bought one of the most expensive pads out there knowing it would be played on pretty hard. In reality, it probably is not designed for something like that (jumping off the dock). I contacted the manufacturer (Island Hopper), sent them the pics, and they promptly sent me out a new pad. I think the pad is worthy of a 5 star rating if used to walk, play, or lay on. That probably needs to be made clearer in the advertisement. That's my only reason for making it a 4 star.

We purchased the Island Hopper to use as extra lounging area when our pier is being used by lots of people. My sister and I (adults) used it for four hours the first day we had it and it was easy to get on and off of and comfortable to sit/lay on. We haven’t had more than 3 people on it yet, but as long as everyone is spaced evenly across the mat I don’t anticipate any issues with having 5 adults lounging comfortably. The mat is thick (2 pieces of foam fused together), one side red, one side blue. The grommets are kind of a pain to install but work great for anchoring and tethering once done. So far so good!

I almost pulled the trigger on the Costco version. Buddy has that one. Cannot even compare to this one. Costco version is weaker and more flemsy. When you try to stand on it, it folds right away. This one we have had three grown men going at it on a balance war and not to spill the beer! Kids? So far we have had 10 kids at one time on it and still had 4 adults jump on to try to push them off. Must have if you want more space on your boat again LOL!

Great floating mat for the kids and adults to either play on or lounge in the lake. The size is perfect for a large group of kids or adults. However, getting it out of the water up onto the dock is really a two person job, particularly when you try and roll the mat up. There is some minor installation required, as you have to install the plastic grommets in the holes with 3 small holes. Quality looks super.

When I go this product and put it on the boat it stained the upholstery. I have tried some mild cleaners but to no avail, I don't want to damage my upholstery, so I don't what to do. It seems like the printing agent is coming off. We paid a premium for this product thinking it would be superior, but the anti skid skin on it is almost too rough. I would not recommend this product and will be seeking some type of remuneration from the manufacturer if I can't get the stains off without damaging the upholstery.

We LOVE our purchase. We’ve had two other mats from other retailers and they both ripped after one summer. After a long Texas summer with heavy use our Water Walk is still in perfect condition. We initially had a mismatch grommet and we called Paul at Customer Service and he was fantastic. We received the piece right away. Excellent customer service and fantastic product. Highly recommend.

The media could not be loaded.  The Mat I received came with a dye that stains your clothes and body. We enjoyed using the Mat in the water only to realize that people had transferred dye to all the Upholstery on the boat. Dark blue stains all over the boat and on our bodies. I fear that my boat is ruined. I could not get it out with solvents, vinegar or any other recommended product on the market. I don't know how I am going to fix No Product should cause this kind of damage but certainly not one that costs $758. Watch the attached video and do not buy this product.

A total blast. Take it on the boat or off the pier, it’s total fun. Easy to roll back up.
