Great product. This is a second time purchase - it was cheaper to buy a new light then to buy a replacement battery. First battery lasted just over a year. A little frustrating that the on button cycles through the center spot light then the strobe light then all three lights. You can't just turn it on and off!

Originally I bought this headlamp for my hike to enchantment. After it arrives, I found it is larger than I thought. But I found it is quite useful for the house work. It has a rechargle battery (maybe that is why it is larger) and I also found a cable to plug into the outlet. The charging time is not very long. The light has two beam settings. Since we need to have some repair work done in our crawl space, we wear it to go down there. We can see clearly in the dark. Good tool for the housework.

I bought this for the sole purpose of kayaking at night, and it was enough light for the whole party. I could easy see as far as I could down river as if it were day time and having a light running on the back of the band is a great feature. I haven't been able to test the water proof side of it but I'm not planning on testing it.

There are many of these headlamps on Amazon which are all about the same. I had an Icefox, which I love, and which is no longer available. I got this as a gift for someone else, and found that it didn't charge with a micro usb charger like mine. I was going to return it, but Amazon was going to charge me for the shipping, so I decided to keep it for myself. Then the charger died after using it once. It also came with a usb cable with their jack for this light on the end, so I can still use it, as long as I never lose that cable. It also has no indicator showing when it is fully charged. Get the Vividled, also on Amazon for the same price. It is identical to my Icefox except for the name, and is a great light.

First off, this is a decent unit, for the price. Not Great, Not awful. Could be improved.The batteries that came with it read as Charged, but lasted less than 5 minutes. Thankfully I had a pair of my own, they lasted much longer. Trying the originals again now.The light gives No sign the batteries are dying. You have light, Then, Bam!, You Don't! I have to carry an extra set of batteries and a charger now. Thanks I love carrying a ton of backups!The Battery case COVER is ridiculous! Soft rubber that does Not hold the batteries in, and comes loose whenever the unit shifts. I Literally used Zip Ties and chunk of a wooden Paint stirrer to hold the cover and batteries in place.Why the Strobe??? I don't need a seizure every time I try to shut this off. Is a 3-4 stage switch I control So much more expensive??? Annoying at worst.

Bought 2 as a replacement for 1 that one of my puppies ate (seriously). I have wall-mount chargers for the 18650 batteries (I have other items that also use these) so I have no idea how well the built-in charger works. I use these when working in my backyard nursery at night. Neighbors probably think I'm nuts as they see the beam of light sweep around at all hours. Nice and bright and good lifetime on the batteries. The batteries work at full intensity and then die rapidly which is OK because I have multiple batteries to swap out. Yes, its made out of plastic. Not sure what one reviewer expected for $20. Strobe seems like a stupid feature and it is blinding.

VERY Disappointed in this product. I gave it to stars only because it is very comfortable and the first 15 minutes of use it is bright. I received in perfect condition I even gave one as a gift. I’m hoping to reach out to that person and find out if they are disappointed as well. I unwrap the batteries and charged my unit and have used it several times. Every single time it is disappointing I start working on my project and the light gets dimmer and dimmer ....probably in about 20 minutes at that point I’m already aggravated because I need to stop take off my head lamp ....plug it in and find an alternate light.I was really hoping that this would work there are others on the market which I am going to try. First I’m going to see if I can possibly get a refund because this product is AWFUL

The pictures are not of the item shipped. The picture shows a clear plastic liner on the headband that would keep the band from stretching past a normal head size which they eventually will do. I like the lights, (very bright) but the light hinge on the 1st one broke after about 5 months and the 2nd one's middle light bulb fell out along with the lens cover. I ordered 1 for a friend and it came with a broken middle lens hinge. I just got the 3rd light for me, (I said I like the light) so maybe the 3rd time is the charm. :)
