I love this chopper for for all that it does. It's so simple yet so versital. I know I shouldn't been so happy about a tool the cuts french fries so easily, but sheesh you don't even have to slam it down through a grid, or run it through a mill. Just slide, slide, slide and Eureka you have uniform fries that cook evenly. Or slide, slide, slide you have apple slices that will dehydrate evenly. So much you can do.But be very aware, this is not a tool for children. The slicing blade is incredibly sharp, as it should be, but there is also no way to put a safety guard on it and still be a useful tool. Just Caveat emtor!!!!!

I'm a repeat customer. I bought one 5-6 years ago but I moved and couldn't find it. I think maybe one of my kids who are grown might have took it lol. So I bought me another. It sure comes in handy at Christmas when I make 10 lbs of cheesy scalloped potatoes or for fried. Very very sharp, stays sharp a long time and slicing is cut in half. Worth the money.

It worked great slicing cucumber, but wouldn’t slice an onion easily. The onion would get stuck on the left side. The first picture was from the top, the second is how much onion sliced through before stopping. The result was incomplete onion rings-usable, but not pretty. Maybe it will do better if I use thinner slicing insert. It is still worth every penny I paid for it, even if cucumbers are all I ever use it for.

I love this mandolin. It is easy to use and to clean up. The handle makes it easy to cut every last pice of what you are cutting. I got 1 for my house and 2 for my work. My coworkers love saving time cutting large quantities of vegetables and fruits!!

I have an expensive metal one that I use for big jobs, but it is heavy and a pain to clean. This little one is great for smaller jobs, and it is similar to ones used on cooking shows.

The blade is not sharp and is attached by plastic clips so it moves up and food gets stuck under the bladeVery dangerous and impossible to clean

Love this kitchen tool! Saves time in the kitchen as slicing is quick and easy and I love that I can slice thicker or more thin. Great product!

unsafe for me having to hold it and force food item over the blade. decided not to use it for safety reasons. *this type of slicer is inherently dangerous. I don't know if there's a safer one.
