Wrote this review due to the reactions I received from wearing L'Instant de Guerlain Extreme...L'Instant de Guerlain Extreme WOW. A blast from the start then as it wears it transitions into a very warm sensually seductive fragrance that envelopes you. The sillage draws attention actually causing heads to turn and move with you; not overpowering, subtle but strong in presence. Just amazing.Through all of that sexiness, L'Instant Extreme's scent is elegant and refined. It's been called a masterpiece, you have to read reviewers that can break down the notes. I am telling you about the experience from wearing this outstanding Perfume. Compliments? more like declarations of desire... The reactions were immediate and DIRECT.I am loving this perfume...  Guerlain L'instant De Guerlain Extreme By Guerlain For Men. Eau De Parfum Spray 2.5-Ounces NOTE 9.13.11: This will be my Third back up bottle as this juice is hard to come by. It is surprising that there are any left to sell today. I had to go through extraordinary measures to get my hands on L'instant Extreme the first time and at a premium price compared to what I paid here.

Highly anticipated fragrance, because of online reviews, impossible to find in retail shops and for those reasons decided on the purchase even though pricey yet not a niche fragrance. Initial impressions are of disappointment. This is the parfum version and yet its not intense, rather tame. In comparison to another vanilla fragrance, Chanel Allure Homme, is a Eau de Toilette, yet its far more potent, great projection and costs less. In comparison, Allure Homme is far sweeter and L'instant Extreme has a initial slight hint of citrus and spice and is more reserved and mature, but I can't get over how tame it is in both projection and sillage. Maybe this is a characteristic of Guerlain EDP's, I also have Habit Rouge EDP, and it cost significantly more yet rather tame. A more direct comparison to it is Dior Homme Intense. This has that reserved, mature feel, but is a Vanilla, slight cocoa fragrance that has great projection and lasts. Between the two, Dior Homme Intense is superior.

One of my favorite colognes. I love the way it settles in your skin. The vanilla mint base smells great. I sprayed it on at 130 pm and went to work. I smelled it all night and got many compliments on it. I got home at 11pm and still smelled it. I will up the next morning 7am and it's still on my skin. It's a very good long lasting cologne (edp) and definitely worth the money. I will be ordering again once I run out. I just wish they sold it in a 4.2 bottle.

Unfortunately, the bottle design is a bit different from the photo which makes you doubt its authenticity and honestly, I don't know the design of the original one and I'm no perfumes expert. Otherwise, I think it's the real deal.

This is probably a love or hate fragrance. On the other hand, my own reaction is ambivalent. It's rich and quite interesting, and I would say instantly recognizable. First lemon, then chocolate. You have to like smelling like chocolate all through the long-lasting drydown. I think many would find it a bit cloying-- just too rich. But it's certainly a fine one, and unique.

This fragrance smells like no other! It seems that most of the men fragrances out, all smell they same! This is sexy & sensual right from the start. But, after it mixes with your body oils of the day...Maybe even a lil manly sweat?:) It's EVEN better!!! If that's possible. I buy it for my husband every year. And I have to agree with the review that states it smells like "Cool summer nights"! Love it!❤

One of the best designer gourmet I have owned. Sillage and projection truly are on another level. Great fragrance if you're looking for a sweet cologne to wear and want performance. Lasts on me literally all day from a morning spray,8-12 hours until I shower. Ive been a gourmet kind of frag head and if you like sweet fragrances, test this out. Its drydown has a masculine note to it.

I bought this as a gift for by boyfriend. He loves this fragrance and he's very particular about smells. At first it is a rather pepper smell but after it settles on the skin and starts to accumulate your natural oils the smell is wonderful. Very distinguished :)

Meine Lieblingsdüfte sind Dior Homme Intense, Midnight in Paris, Otto Kern Signature sowie One Million Intense. Alle davon kommen bei Leuten in meiner Umgebung und vor allem auch bei Frauen super an.Guerlain stellt nun meine neue Nummer 1 da !!Der Duft ist warm orientalisch, leicht Gourmand und dabei doch total frisch. Der Duft riecht sehr männlich und dabei anziehend.Am Anfang dominieren die harzigen Noten die von einer zitrischen Frische und etwas Sternanis begleitet werden.Die Herznoten aus Jasmin, Neroli und Patchouli leiten über verleihen dem Duft einen leicht floralen und erdigen touch.Die Basis ist das was diesen Duft so unglaublich gut macht. Hier dominieren für mich der Kakao und der Tee.Der Duft riecht nach dem Drydown einfach nur unglaublich sinnlich und orientalisch angehaucht mit einer frische wie ich sie nicht erwartet hätte.Ein perfektes Zusammenspiel aus Kakao, Tee, leicht harzigen Akzenten sowie der frische der zitrischen Noten.Duft 10/10Haltbarkeit 9/10 ( es ist ein gut gelungenes EDP das euch wirklich stundenlang begleiten wird)Sillage 7/10 ( eure Umgebung wird den Duft definitiv wahrnehmen, allerdings wird es bei richtiger Handhabung, sagen wir 3-5 Sprüher nie penetrant)Vor allem für den Günstigen Preis hier bei Amazon kann ich diesen Duft nur empfehlen!!

This Guerlain LIDGE besides Guerlain Heritage are the best of Guerlain. I do not care for cacao, but in this fragrance it works. The base has a beautiful earthy sent, like tonka beans mixed with patchouli. I love to work in the garden and walk in forests to relax, this fragrance reminds me of really beautiful forests, earth and nature scents. I cannot help smelling myself after the top notes of the LIDGE EDP have left and the base notes take over. Reality beautiful fragrance. Totally recommend it. Really top quality.
