Amaranth Grains (2lb) by Naturevibe Botanicals, Gluten-Free & Non-GMO (32 ounces)

It's a healthy grain that is difficult to get in grocery stores. It is rather easy to get here, but may be more pricey than the common stuff (wheat and oats flour and grains) sold in grocery stores.Its a shame that the more healthy grains are not the first products sold in the USA.

I am learning to cook with this my first attempt it came out good I'm going to learn more recipes very good product.

This was my first try with amaranth and I didn't care for it. Has a strong chemical taste (to me) and is gritty. Didn't want to rate it poorly as it might be great for someone who likes amaranth.

As a kid I used to eat this popped seed as biscuits. But adding the benefits of popping it yourself makes the taste more earthy. I love it. 😍

I bought this after reading the benefits of amaranth. I was nervous when I first opened the bag and got a strong sense of earth/must. I cooked up a batch hoping it would go away through the cooking process, but even when eating it it tasted like I was eating rot/dirt. My gut is upset as well. I think I got a bad batch, but I have no way to return it or get a new one without paying for another bag. I’m disappointed

I'm sure some people love these, but the texture is just really off-putting for me. Also there's no directions for cooking them on the bag. You have to go to the website to see how to prepare them.

Don't buy from this seller. The bag was not 2 lbs. Not even 1 lbs and the bag is advertised 2 lbs.Incorrect advertising.
