Very high quality pants
I had been eyeing these pants for some time before deciding on them, and glad that I finally ordered them. They have a high thread count (as opposed to xxxxxBay cargo pants) and are heavy duty yet comfortable. The relaxed fit is really relaxed, which I appreciate. The photos were taken after removing the tags, washing them and wearing them for about an hour. The only nitpick I have is that the actual khaki color of these pants is a bit darker than what appears in the product description photos (seen both on my PC monitor and smartphone). I don't think this is in an issue with my device screens not being calibrated properly. I agree with other reviewers that the side pockets aren't big enough to completely conceal a large cell phone but I can live with this. My cell phone sticks out about half an inch from the pocket. I'm really a 36 waist but decided on a 38 waist and am glad I did (again, preferring roominess).

Top Notch
5.11 pants are always my go-to for work pants. They're tough, rugged, extremely comfortable and last for years. I own a few pair and they're my favorite. They also work great for fishing

Material was too heavy for me
If you are looking for a heavy and well made tactical pants you will like that one.I am a senior and the weight of the pants did not sit well with me, so I return it and bought a lighter one.

100% cotton
These pants are awesome. Get you a couple pair. They will outlast any other garments you own. They will outlast every relationship from your time of purchase. They will outlast the weight gain you may experience beyond your mid 20’s. No they did not shrink, they are perfect, the only perfect thing in your life, strive to be more like these pants. Al long as you fit them, they will love you, we all will love you.

Most robust cargo pants I own without question.
5.11 Tactical Men's Cotton Pant(Purchased: Fire Navy, Black, Khaki,Tundra, Grey, and OD Green)$47-54 w/ Prime Shipping at time of purchasesThese are my favorite heavy duty cargo pants hands down. They are rugged and have generous pockets in all the right locations. The rear pockets are of particular note as they are slanted and deep enough so that it is very difficult to sit on an item stored. To illustrate, I store myNote 4 paired with a "Zero Lemon 10000mAh extended battery" which makes the phone, quite frankly, a brick. It still fits comfortably and completely within the pocket(no part protruding out of the pocket) and I can sit down comfortably. Your mileage may vary but if it can fit this particular phone and battery without incident then you wont have any issue with smaller phones or wallets. The only drawbacks of these are the price(you get what you pay for) and that they do get a little warm since its a thicker cotton canvas. Also they lose the pocket on the front of the right thigh that the "taclite pro" series possesses. As far as modifications go I was considering adding zippers so that they will be convertible into shorts like some hiking pants are and/or zippered or Velcro vents that would make the pants comfortable even in warm weather.BUILDThe sizing on the pants are spot on in my experience. The durability of the pants seem high since they are cotton canvas and even after many wash cycles and heavy wear they only show some minor signs of a few threads of the stitching coming loose(very very minor).COLORSThe colors fading on these pants is more of a concern to me than the pants themselves wearing out as the colors are not very vibrant(personal preference on pro or con). They are almost exactly the colors depicted on the product images.I plan on purchasing the Sage and Coyote Brown to complete the set.

Good value
Solid, well constructed work pants. It took several years of rough use to wear out my first couple of pairs. Just reordered, and these are just as stout as the others. In fact, they upgraded the snap to be even more rugged.

Solid but disappointing for the price
Bought these for work in hazardous waste cleanup and environmental sampling. On the first try on, I knew to expect some disappointments. The seller, warehouse, or manufacturer (unsure which) did not offer odd-numbered sizes. I initially bought a pair with a 34 in waist and they were too big. This is my fault and I cannot fault them for this. I bought a pair of 32 in waist and they were too tight. Overall no matter what size I picked, they are either too baggy (they look like I am wearing a wet diaper underneath) or too tight and uncomfortable to wear. For the price, additional sizing options should be available. The pants also didn't hold up to what I would consider normal wear and tear. As I use them for field work and hazardous waste cleanup, my pants get washed fairly often. After a few uses (3 or 4) and washings, some of the seams started to fray. What struck me as particularly annoying was the extra reinforcing on the pockets for pocket knife clips frayed after one or two washes. These are advertised as "working person's pants, trusted for use by first responders", but they don't hold up to regular washings. I expected better longevity than the $20 Wrangler cargo pants I usually use for my work, but these seem worse. I can wear the cheapo pants for upwards of 20 washes before noticing any wear. I would stick to other "premium" brands if you want to spend good money on good pants.
