Be careful with the thermostat!
This replaced the heating element and thermostat on my 25 year old Kenmore dryer. Both fit, and looked almost identical to the originals. However, be really careful installing the thermostat. The one I received did not quite fit and I had to bend it to get it onto the terminal. When I did so, it broke (where the two dissimilar metals are joined). I was able to solder it back together, and also decided that bending down the flange where the prong on the dryer fits into the hole also helps. Anyway, after soldering and doing that bent flange, I was able to get it on without breaking it.Also note that even installing these two items may not be enough. My dryer still did not heat with the new elements. I spent some time reading the owners manual and was able to find a hint that the high heat shut-off fuse will blow if the dryer overheats. This needs to be replaced if it blows. So I had to order one of these. After I installed it (very easy!), the dryer worked fine. It is quite possible that I only needed to replace this part, and not the element, so could have saved myself $35 if I had done so. I recommend replacing this fuse first to see if that restores the heating capability of your dryer.

Perfect part.
This didn’t fix my issue as it turned out to be the timer (I’m guessing/replaced everything else!) which is $125 and since a new dryer is $379 and mine is 15 years old? I’m junking it. Bonus the new dryer takes this same element so I’ve already got a spare! It’s amazing how simple these appliances are for what they charge for them and they haven’t changed in decades.Go ahead and buy this if you have no heat. Chances are this is the reason why. I replaced mine years ago with this same part and it fixed it back then. I love that you get the thermostat and fuse with it. Locally that fuse alone is $14.95. This is a great buy!

It fixed the issue! Didn't know that fixing a dryer could be easy.
Do it yourself! If you can. My dryer stopped getting hot. It was working, otherwise, just no heat. I was going to buy a new dryer until I watched a you tube on fixing this sort of issue. It said that 9 times out of 10, it was a bad heating element. I looked up the part for my model and this was so much easier than I thought it would be. It's a heating element and though a slight risk in that it may not have been the issue, it was the issue. After replacing, it's all good! The dryer would not have been too terrible to replace, but if you can fix it for cheap, why not?

Fast Easy Install Gets Nice and Hot
The old heating coil broke and this came with 2 sensors for a low price. Amazing.Worked like a champ super easy. 10 min to get it out and 10 min to put it all back together.Pictures are of old one that broke.New one glows nice and red on hottest setting. Its best to run it on lowest heat setting after new install. Break in the sensors and heating coil.

DIY save some money
The parts fit perfect on my old dusty estate dryer. I thought it might be the fuse. For such a nicely priced kit I decided to get everything just in case . It was the heating element and not the fuse. I replaced everything. The dryer works better than ever. Sears has some straight to the point repair videos ! DO IT YOURSELF! Also, google the make and model number of your dryer . I was able to pull the part numbers that way and all were the same as the ones I purchased. Best of luck. I’ll UPDATE IF IT FAILS !6 month follow-up... all is will. The parts are working well !

Great price great value
Have had it on for a few months now and so far my dryer has been running strong. Very easy to install. Price was cheaper than buying at an appliance store or having someone come out and shell out $150 for the labor alone
