Little House on the Prairie: Christmas at Plum Creek / A Christmas They Never Forgot

During the present days of this time period, filled with people rushing around and really going nowhere, during the present days of this time period when there are so many problems in the world, during the present days of this time period when some people will not no how they will survive from day-to-day....this was a refreshing movie of days gone by. When there was no television, where there was a wonderful sense of family, this movie could let one sit back and forget for just a little while what is going on in one's life and the surrounding life when one walks out through the door into "today". This is a wonderful movie and I highly recommend it for everyone. I have always loved Little House on the Praire....I watched it extensively when it was on TV. It was a joy to watch how everyone put Christmas together the "right" way. I watch all my Christmas movies every year....and the list is getting extensive....but this one I will put high up there with some of my favorites like It's a Wonderful Life and Mircle on 34th Street and The Christmas Carol. Everyone should have this special Christmas movie to watch every year just for that little while when one can become absorbed into another time when things were more peaceful and family and friends meant everything.

Love this DVD - I have already started watching it despite the fact that Halloween is 2 days away!I love how each character tells their fondest memory of Christmas. Each story gives you a little insight into the character. What makes the program so awesome is that it feels like family. I honestly would not mind holing up with my kids and husband in a tiny cabin on Christmas Eve if it meant we would talk, remininisce, eat, laugh, cry and bond. Being a Christian, the whole idea of family is always very welcoming to me. And this DVD really allows me to reflect.This program makes me think of when we pull out the ornaments after Thanksgiving and relive our happy childhood moments.As for the quality of the DVD, mine is very crisp. No issues with quality at all.I will be sharing this, as well as all my boxed LHOTP sets, with my children as they grow - hopefully they will realize that not everything related to Christmas has Santa or a price tag associated with it. It's all about the spirit, the heart and the family.

To watch the two Christmas episodes of little house on the prarie is a joy to me and I love both of them but as most series in re-runs, they don't always show them so adding this two Christmas one, is a welcomed treat although technically I can't open it until Christmas, just knowing I have them and can watch them anytime will be so much fun. Love the series and always have a few favorites and these are two of them

Oh my gosh! I didn’t think I’d love these little shoes as much as I did! It brings back all the good feels of watching the show eggnog I was a little girl after school❤️ And the fact that they are Christmas shows? Best ever!

Great gift for my mother.

The most family friendly show of the last 40 years and this is how they celebrate Christmas. This is when TV producers were not afraid to say Jesus was born on this day. Not that I am a saint; look at some of my other reviews on Amazon.com; I am anything but. However, it seems good and heartwarming(dare I say calming in an inner serenity way?) to watch this on occasion.

We bought this for my Mom who Loves Little House. She liked the fact that it was only a couple of shows and it could keep her attention on those boring rainy afternoons! Great selection of the holiday shows, with all the characters in them. Great copy of shows, clear and crisp copy, not some cheap bootleg! I would recommend as part of your collection instead of shelling out the +$200 for the whole collection.

This DVD is a Christmas gift so I can’t write a review on the quality of the actual DVD. However, it is exactly as shown & it arrived on the date specified.

Dvd arrivé intact en très bon état. Seulement il y a un problème c'est que quand nous avons voulu le regarder il c'est affiché NE PEUT ÊTRE LU. Dommage. J'espère ne pas en avoir d'autres comme celui ci.

I have this hole Little House On The Prairie Seasons and I watch it a lot because it wonderful to see that family can love each other and take what ever is sent their way. And the Christmas one I watch a lot and this is why I got it on its own because love and under standing is what people don't have the day.
