BoschHDC100 SDS-Plus Dust Collection Attachment

Bought this to drill some holes in masonry in a very expensive house. It did exactly what it was suppose to do.

Attached this to my boschhammer sds plus bulldog max. Works like a charm. I hooked up my festool dust collector hose directly into this unit and it fit snugly and securely. There was no visible dust escaping from the ten or so holes I drilled with a long 9/16th bit. I wore a mask as a precaution but it looked very clean. I checked with a 1" bit and it just won't fit. You need to move up to the sds max drill and dust collector for that one.The metal band is secure and is the same one used with the standard grip that came with my drill. The part that makes it feel loose is the lever underneath which you need to properly adjust and tighten after setting the length for your drill bit. It acts as a depth guide so you don't need the metal rail along with this. There is a red toggle on the slide that you adjust to mark the limit for it to retract.Looks great on the drill too!Cheers

Very convenience when drill on the wall. This accessories control dust during concrete drill. The vacuum cleaner host is not fit and compatible to most brand.

Slick product, but unless you’re adding to an existing Bosch vac system with 35mm hose… you’ll need an adapter to connect a 2.5” shop vac

This device works fine, but one problem I keep running into is that the standard size 12" drill bits do not vacuum for the first 2 inches. There are some 10" bits out there and I recommend those only IF you are only drilling 4" or less depth, because the vacuum device cannot collapse but so far.When attaching this to my vacuum I always just use tape to seal the joint at the hose.I have also used this with a Milwaukee SDS-Plus. BUT, it did require a spacer. The collar on the Milwaukee is smaller than the Bosch. I just cut a strip of cardboard and slid it under the tensioning band.

It works pretty well but way overpriced for what it is.
