my surgeon recommended this product after I developed a very dry eye a year after my laser eye surgery. I found one eyelid was sticking to my eyeball overnight. This ointment stops that. I put it in last thing before I go to sleep, be careful how you squeeze the tube as the gel will continue to come out once you stop squeezing. It is thick and greasy and blurs your vision, that's why you should put it in last thing. In the morning the area around your eye may be a little greasy but after 7-8 hours sleep the blurring has cleared and your eye feels comfortable. No need to re- apply if you wake in the night and open your eyes, it will still last the rest of the night. Just don't forget to take it with you on holiday!

This simply didn't work for me I'm afraid. I use hylo-forte drops every morning for very dry eyes - I was recommended this to try to help during the night as the drops wear off if I put them in at night, but sadly I awoke with dry and itchy eyes - so it didn't lubricate and it irritated too. Others seem happy, so I guess its horses for courses - it just didn't work for me.

Ordered 3 of these and they all have the same expiry of May 2022. Would be impossible to use all three in that timeframe. I’m waiting for the seller to respond about replacing 2 with a more suitable expiry date.Have use the product many times but the expiry is my issue. Also older branded item.

I would very much like my fellow Amazon customers to be aware that having ordered and paid for 3 tubes of this very effective eye ointment I too received only one tube .

I like this product and it has been a great help with my severe dry eyes. Good value for money too. It is a bit messy to use and gets on your bedding.

Since the NHS no longer dispense this, I was very relieved to find it available on Amazon. Very useful for dry eyes causedby Sjogrens syndrome

I ordered three tubes. One box contained a differnt pruct, althoughthe box was correcr. This is unacceptable in a pharmaceutical product.

My dog suffers from dry I it was recommended from my vet to use morning and night and so far seems very effective in keeping her comfortable
