Very happy with this purchase. Not my first time buying it; I prefer this brand to others I've bought in the past. No grit, just lovely, clean buckwheat groats. Makes great porridge mixed with nuts and fruit, or kasha which I add to soup or mix with salad vegetables. Keeps me feeling full without also feeling bloated, and maintains my energy levels for several hours with no cravings between meals. Very good product at a reasonable price.

Good buckwheat but NOT roasted
What I wanted was kasha, or roasted buckwheat. This is described as such but isn't roasted. The same brand/product is available for several pounds more elsewhere on the site. I can roast this myself so won't go to the trouble of returning it, but if it is kasha (roasted buckwheat) you want, don't choose this.
