These arrived just in time to deal with some settled, frozen Derbyshire snow in our village, on a day when 2 people broke ankles and one broke a nose. Ouch. Always have some crampons ready and where you can find them!They slip on easily and can also be taken off easily - important for both me and the pub landlord's nice wooden floors - but never felt like they would come off accidentally. I felt steady and secure using them over my boots.The optional straps are a nice touch although I would prefer them to attach to separate lugs rather than going under the outside straps where they are likely to wear on rough ground. Still, I probably shan't be using them, so...At £8.99 at time of review I really can't find anything to complain about. If that changes I'll let you know.

The crampon ice grips wrap around boots and hold tight to the middle with the aid of velcro straps. The studs have built in spikes that penetrate easily but no option to pull out and replace as and when worn down.These ice grips fit into the disposable price range and are good quality and value so buy with confidence.

Not so good for me...te metal grip come off just after first use.
