Can’t beat this for the price
These serve their purpose exceptionally well and are very sturdy. I don’t like clunky bookends and I was not sure if these would hold up the weight of my many (too many) books but they do! All the books stay put.

Not cheap plastic
Very nice and heavy duty. I was afraid they might be cheap plastic, but there are a nice metal book end perfect for the books in my office.

Bookends are good quality for such a small price. The two sets were less than half the price I had paid for a previous set I purchased and are just as durable, sturdy and slip-resistant.
