This is a fantastic play mat for my little one. They love to play on it with their toy vehicles and animals.It's very big (even the smaller size!) but a great size for my child's bedroom floor. I think the bigger version may have been too big and taken up the whole floor space.It's fairly thick and good quality. It has a non slip bottom for laminate or hard flooring, however ours is on carpet.It can be used as an educational tool too - there are lots of colours to learn and buildings with names to learn spellings. You could also say things like "where does the ambulance need to go?" (the hospital) to teach your child about what certain vehicles and places are for.It's big enough for multiple children to play on together and can be rolled up or folded away when not in use, if necessary, or to move out of the way while hoovering/mopping the floor etc.It's an excellent play mat and I'm very happy to recommend.
