Useful Book
The Essential Herb Gardening Handbook: How Any Home Cook Can Grow Flavors from Around the World - Tips to Sow, Grow, Harvest, and Cook 20 Popular Herbs by Daniel Stein is such a useful book and one that teaches you all about herbs. As opposed to some plants, herbs are actually useful. When you grow herbs, they become food and help to accent whatever you are cooking. With a focus on twenty herbs, this book helps you decide which herbs work for you, how to utilize herbs in cooking, and much more. A wealth of information is contained here. Highly recommend this book that teaches all about herbs and their uses.

Herbs for you
If you are like me and you love the idea of gardening herbs and using them in your cooking, but you can't get a plan to stay alive no matter how much you try? Then this book is certainly for you. The author goes into great details about how to identify the herbs how to plant them the best ways, which ones do well next to each other and which ones don't. The author also helps identify a lot of mistakes that are commonly made and how to avoid them, or if you already made that mistake he writes how to fix it. Which for me was the most important part. I really like this book since it was easy for me to read and understand and it was not too long, but still provided all the information that I needed. I now have a couple of plants living on my kitchen counter and I am much more hopeful in my abilities of keeping them alive. A fantastic book to get for any kitchen gardener.

Very helpful guide!
I have always wanted to buy this kind of book and finally did. What I wanted to see is more illustrations or actual pictures of the plant. What I liked about “The Essential Herb Gardening Handbook” is that it has this cooking cheat sheet wherein I was able to reassess how I use my herbs. I was able to understand what time of the year and which herbs can grow together. Even without buying the herbs or smelling it through this book I know what it would taste like so that I know which of my dishes can use these herbs. I will definitely keep this in my pocket, because it is very educational and handy. It is well written, easy to understand and also easy to follow. Again, my only request is more pictures but that's just me.

Very useful
The Essential Herb Gardening Handbook: How Any Home Cook Can Grow Flavors from Around the World - Tips to Sow, Grow, Harvest, and Cook 20 Popular Herbs by Daniel Stein is a great book for anyone who is looking to start their own herb garden or has already been goring one. The book goes into the best ways to grow herbs, the conditions that need to be met, as well as which herbs compliment each other and how to use they while cooking. What I really liked about this book is that it is very easy to follow and understand. The steps that are included and the information about the individual types of herbs is useful to those with experience and those with none. For anyone who is interested in gardening this is a must read and a must have.

I loved it!
The Essential Herb Gardening Handbook comes in handy when you are a starter like myself. It has a practical approach and it is written in a tone that makes it seem as if the author is an acquaintance of us and is right in front of us talking and teaching us about how to grow flavors from around the globe, how gardening problems can be fixed, giving us some tips on how to sow, harvest and, most importantly, cook popular herbs. This book is pure magic.Something I would like to highlight about it is the fact that it is written in a straightforward language, what makes it easier for us to follow and it is also inspiring and motivational since it helps us develop a more nature-friendly kind of mindset. I loved it!

Great book
I love gardening and cooking, they are my favourite activities to relax and spend time doing something productive at home. To find my two hobbies combined in such a great book is wonderful. In The Essential Herb Gardening Handbook, author Daniel I Stein has included thorough explanations on how to grow more than 20 herbs, and 9 international herbs, how to fix common problems, and prepare the soil to maintain its productivity during years, among other useful information.Cooking and gardening are activities that require dedication and sometimes, too many hours of care and experimentation. I like to look for new recipes and to follow them. The idea of having my own herb garden at home sounds very easy and doable as I follow the directions in this amazing book. I highly recommend it.

very enriching
“The essential herb gardening handbook” by Daniel Stein is an immensely helpful guide on various things at a time. Meaning that it will not only teach you how to plant herbs and other plants by teaching you the basics of planning a garden or any other space but it will also make sure you know the most common problems that come with gardening, how to harvest herbs the right way and, to put the cherry on top, it will teach you cooking skills with the herbs you have just grown all by yourself in your garden. Isn’t that amazing? For me, it was a whole lot of fun to have such an interactive book where you can actually see such amazing results, if you follow the steps of it.
