I think this was a nice children's necklace for the price - it appeared to be a nicer quality than some of the others I saw. The horse has a little weight to it and is nice and shiny. The chord was a perfect length for my 8 yr old, and easy to get on and off. I had no issues with the shipment - everything came on time and the necklace came appropriately packaged, tucked into a little black pouch.

I bought this for my daughter and it's quite nice. The chain is pretty and sturdy band the pendant is very pretty

Pretty sure the cord is real leather (at least it smelled like real leather and sturdy!) and the horse is shiny and well defined. Gave it as a gift for a 10 yr. old girl who loved it!

I may have not read the description correctly so was surprised to find the horse is not solid. It is a pretty horse but only half of one which is a bit disappointing. The black cord is very stiff as well. I will not return the necklace because it is going to a 9 year old who has just acquired an interest for horses. Hopefully, it will bring her enough pleasure for now.

Was purchased for my granddaughter for Christmas so I'm not sure about the quality, but she loves horses so I'm thinking she is going to be very happy with this.

I anxiously awaited this item as it is a Christmas gift for my 10yo grandaughter who rides in rodeos. I especially chose one with the cord because of its extra secureness when she rides. Upon opening, there was a very strong order which at first I thought was just because it was inside a pouch inside a tiny clear plastic bag. I removed it and hung it up. WOW, it is actually the cord itself AND the pouch to store it in. I have sprayed both with Febreze and placed outside (in thirties/forties and sunny here) for an entire day and no change in smell!! The amell has actually lingered in my home. I did contact the company and received a nice email from them. They have no idea why this pendant has this smell. They recommended I return it to Amazon, which I will request, but I don't have time to order another in time for Christmas. NOTE: I really like the horse charm itself...just the right size for my granddaughter.

While the silver horse charm was fine the black leather cord was more like a piece of plastic. It's so coiled I don't think it will straighten out. I'm going to purchase a silver chain to put the horse on.

This necklace is absolutely adorable! I originally intended it for my daughter but I like it so much I may end up keeping it!The silver tone horse is about an inch wide and hangs 15/16 of an inch including the bale. He cord is almost like a waxed cotton material. The cord is a little stiff when you first take it out of the package but it does smooth out pretty quickly after you put it on.The cord is perfect for children at 16 inches long and does have a 2 inch extender for different lengths.This necklace is beautiful alone or layered with others.My daughter and I both love the adorable detail that this horse has, the hooves, mane and tail, and face are elegantly detailed.I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review. These thoughts are 100% my own unbiased opinion.
