Really weird game
This game takes a bit of getting used to. Early on, we all had real problems flipping those cards over without peeking at them first. It's strange to play your cards blindly. But the more we played, the more everyone got used to watching those cards so they could rapidly take advantage of any good cards being played. (I won the game being played in the photo! lol)There are three decks of cards. Each player gets their own deck. You must pick up a card in a manner so you do not see it before you place it. You pick a spot on an imaginary 4x4 grid, pick up the top card of your deck and place it where you planned to. You don't get a choice to place the card in a spot most beneficial to you. There's a card that allows all players to smack one of theirs on top of it and take over that card/space. That single card an really mess up your strategy! The game is interesting. This was the first deck of cards that I have come across in years that you could pick up and shuffle straight away. They were not outrageously stiff, requiring a lot of shuffling to make them more pliable. That is an awesome feature of this game.MADE IN CHINA.

Good quality game
The game is similar to tic-tac-toe, but with cards and some added rules for placing them in the grid. I love the game box—it’s just the right size and great quality, including the cards and instruction manual paper. Thanks for the game! :)

Surprisingly fun little game
We're a boardgame family and when I saw this game I decided to give it a try. It's a very easy game to learn and play. It's also a very quick play. I played this with 2 of my adult sons. I was surprised that even though there's just a bit of strategy involved, the "kooky" card kept us on our toes. Every time we finished a round, we'd say, "Okay, let's play one more time". Sometimes it's fun to just play a mindless, fun little game! The dog graphics are very cute and the box is very sturdy with a magnetic closure which I found to be an added bonus. My 3 year old granddaughter wanted to play with us so after we were finished with our game I used the cards to play a round of Memory with her. She was happy with that.

Connect four with a twist
This is a fun and equally cute game. It comes with clear instructions and is easy to learn. It can be played as individuals with 2-3 players or as teams with 4 or 6 players. The purpose of this game is to place 4 of your cards in a row and to stop other players from succeeding in this first. There is a bit of a twist here, however, because you can't look at your cards before you play them. There are some cards in the deck that can completely mess up your (or others) plans. It is a fun game and it is good for multiple ages to play together. It is a good mix of strategy and luck, which keeps it fun for all ages. The box suggests ages 8 and up, but I think younger kids will be able to play this game as well.It takes a little bit of planning to stop others from winning and to set yourself up for the win, but I bet many younger kids can handle it. The cards are good quality and all of the pictures are super cute. This game is sure to delight any dog lover. The game box holds everything perfectly and has a magnetic closure to keep it all contained. This would make a good gift and a great addition to the game closet.

More fun than tic tac toe!
This is a really fun game! The goofy dog illustrations add to the fun. Although the suggested age is 8+, my 5yo and 6yo really enjoy this game. I would say that if a kid can play tic tac toe, then they should be able to play this game. The only tricky part is remembering what each card does, but it didn't take long before my kids remembered. The cards are good quality and flexible. The gameplay is fun for two or three players. Unlike tic tac toe, there are different cards that add an element of chance. You won't know what you get into you flip it over onto the board! This makes the game more fun than tic tac toe, where players often end in a stalemate once they learn the strategy of the game. The a Oddballs is a great mix of luck and strategy that's fun for the whole family!
