I got these because I have a desk on carpet, which wobbles a bit. After wedging these under the legs on each side, it still wobbles. Maybe a little less? It's hard to say. I imagine there is some trick to getting them right, but there is no guidance or instructions provided with them, so who can say. I'll keep trying.

Really like these furniture shims. I have purchased others in the past which are hard plastic and don’t easily stay in place under furniture. These are soft like rubber and they hold their grip much better under furniture. Easy to stack a few without having them slide out from under. And soft enough to cut if they are too large. Would buy again.

I already used one of these under a bookcase that jiggles. I was using a wood shim that was very visible. These don’t show at all, a nice product. I think they’d work on a chair with some glue.
